HI! I'm back! Looks like it's going to be yet another long week! Oh well, I'm just going to take a day at a time yeah? Another boring week of school to come! =[
I was watching Survivor: China on Friday and this comment was made by one of the contestants. "It helps to be good-looking". Agree? Yeah, I think everyone will agree right? Here's the thing though, are looks more important than having a good character/personality? I don't think so. To me, having a good character is so much more important than looks. You may be good-looking, but if your character is bad, do you think people will still like you? Here's what I think most people do. When we meet people for the very first time, we will judge them by their looks one way or another. Am I right? If you see a good-looking person and just an average person. Based on looks alone, who would you approach first? Of course the good-looking one la. But let's say, the good-looking person has a bad personality while the average-looking person has a really good character, who would you rather be with? Well, some people will still choose the good-looking one, but I will prefer to be around people with a good character! It will be an ideal thing if you are a good-looking guy/girl with a wonderful personality. It's quite often that you hear this phrase everywhere, "Don't rely on looks alone". It does help and sometimes, it helps a whole lot too, but the successful people in life don't rely on that. I know quite a number of good-looking guys and girls that are rather arrogant. Of course, there are those who are really nice to everyone! But those who are arrogant, their character really like Fuchsia. L0L! No, I don't mean the plant nor the colour. Just say it aloud and you should figure it out. =] Therefore, in conclusion... Character > Looks ! Yes, have a pleasant character and don't be stuck up because it really turns people off in every angle or every way that you look at it. L0L! Ok, I think everyone should figure out by now that I do not like mixing with stuck up and arrogant people. If you are unable to figure that out... I can't help you fix that problem either. L0L! I hear people using it now and then, but I have no idea what it means because www.dictionary.com doesn't have the definition for it. L0L! Anyway, I don't like that word because it just sounds weird. Gavin told me that it's a German word and he told me the meaning as well, but I forgot what it means already. L0L! I only remember him telling me that alot of people use it in the wrong way. Anyway, can someone tell me the difference between Friendly and Sociable? Is it the same? I checked the words up and I realise that there isn't much of a difference. You know, it's like same same but different at the same time? Yes, so anyone please enlighten me if you know the difference between the two words.
