Late.
Wow, for the first time in like weeks, I was late for work. L0L! I could have been early, but the MRT driver stopped at Tiong Bahru MRT station for at least 3 minutes. That was enough to screw me. L0L! I reached the office about 9:10am, the computer was so low to start up and by the time it was done loading, I was logged on as 9:30am. Fortunately, I did manage to get my supervisor to change it at the end of the day. L0L! Well, work today was totally slack; all I had to do was to check the bad telephone numbers. L0L! I was very tired and sleepy though, so I took my time to gone through the whole stack that I had. L0L!
I had a quick lunch today because I wanted to go to the just opened Gramophone. The place was kind of small though, but there were pretty good records sold there. I took some time to listen to some of the pop and rock songs before heading back up to the office. After work, I bid farewell to my fellow supervisors because I would be gone till 2nd of May. Let's just hope that they won't miss me so much. L0L! I went to Guardian after work to pick up some stuff I need before leaving Singapore. I got my toothbrush and the L'Oreal Special FX Studio Absolute Wet Gel. The gel was on sales at $10.90 for 2 tubes, but when the cashier keyed it in, it was only $9 plus, so I managed to make a good deal. L0L! I got home about 7 plus, had my dinner and a long shower. L0L! I felt pretty refreshed after that. My parents came back after 9pm and my dad brought home the Toshiba laptop that he bought for me. It was pretty nice, but I didn't check it out or start using it yet. L0L! I wanted to start packing my luggage for the trip on Sunday, but Survivor Palau was up at 10pm. So I had no choice but to pack my luggage tomorrow before I go over to my relative's place. That's why I had to cancel my plans for tomorrow. *Sighz* oh well, I guess I would just have to stay at home and do some packing. L0L! Survivor Palau was rather boring today although I don't know why. L0L! At the reward challenge, the tribe was split into 2 teams. The winning group would have a Palau feast awaiting them. The first team was Tom, Greg, Janu and Caryn. As for the other team, it was Ian, Katie, Stephenie and Jenn. In the end, the first team won, but just slightly. During their feast, Janu apparently excused herself as she had to throw up!? I thought that was pretty odd because it was supposed to be a feast. The winning team did bring some food back for the remaining tribe to enjoy, but both Janu and Caryn still took some of it to eat. L0L! I thought they had enough of that already? L0L! At the immunity challenge, it was a test of holding on to some bars and breathing while in the water. Eventually, it was Tom who won immunity again for the second time in a row. *Sighz* I'm really getting sick of him winning. L0L! At tribal council, Stephenie knew that her head was on the chopping board. In the end, Janu decided not to continue on and chose to quit. I was pretty shocked actually, but I'm really hoping that Stephenie wins in the end because she really deserves it. I have just listed everything I need for my trip to China on Sunday. So when I'm doing my packing tomorrow, I would be able to see what I'm missing out on. L0L! Anyway, my list seems to be pretty short, but I just can't think of anything else already. I seem to have everything that I need for my trip. L0L! I'm not having many expectations for this trip though because I don't want to get disappointed in the end. L0L! Hopefully, it would be a wonderful experience that I can take back with just like my trip to New Zealand 2 years ago. Luckily, the plane ride isn't 10 hours; it's only about 5 to 6 hours. Anyway, I have bad news for everyone! This will be my last entry before I leave Singapore because I would be staying over at my relative's place tomorrow. Their internet connection there is way too slow for me to blog, so I won't be blogging tomorrow ok? *Sighz* I'm going to miss you guys, especially some of you! You know who you are right? I don't have to name you out 1 by 1 do I? L0L! Seriously speaking, I am really going to miss you guys, so I'll see if I'm able to come online from China ya? Maybe they have some sort of internet access in their hotels or something. L0L! Do try your very best not to miss me ok guys? L0L! Have fun and enjoy yourselves when I'm not around ok? And be good! L0L! Especially you Sian Yang!!! Wahahaha! Alright then, that's about it from me. Take care, god bless and stay happy~! L0L! =] With Love, Shawn~ P.S: Happy Birthday in advance Joa! Sianz to da MAX!
Woah, I didn't have to work today, so I could wake up late. L0L! I was already awoke quite early, but I was just too plain lazy to get out of bed. In the end, I lied in my bed till about 11:30pm. L0L! Man, that was a really good rest I had for a very long time. L0L! Oh, there was a new piece of furniture that came today. I didn't know anything about it until my mum told me when I was out of bed. L0L! It was going to be put into my parent’s room though, so that doesn't really concern me. L0L!
Anyway, the whole day was just plain boring. L0L! I was slacking for most of the day, well to be honest, for the whole day. L0L! I had a hard time planning on what to do for tomorrow as well as Saturday. L0L! I'm thinking of going to Marina South with some of my closer friends to have a bbq steamboat there. Well, that was the idea I had in mind, so I hope everyone would agree on that. Perharps, we could go catch a movie at Orchard and have a game of pool before going to Marina South for dinner? That's a good idea! L0L! I caught American Idol on Channel 5 at 3pm. It was direct off satellite, meaning there wasn't any commercial. L0L! It was good in a way because I hate commercials and there always seemed to be many commercials in between for American Idol. L0L! Unfortunately, Anwar was eliminated today to my shocking dismay. He was in the bottom 3 with Scott and Anthony, who were both worse than him last night. With Anwar gone, it means that 3 Negros were eliminated in 3 consecutive weeks. It also means that Vonzell is the only Negro left in the group of 6 remaining, so I'm hoping that she wins. If she gets eliminated next week, then it will obviously be some racist shit going on. Oh well... After dinner, I caught the new series of "Joey" at 9pm. It was rather amusing, but I won't be able to catch the next episode because I won't be in Singapore. *Sighz* anyway, I watched the news after Joey and there were more debates on having a Casino on the new resort island. L0L! If they do have one, hopefully I won't be addicted to that place if not I'll be in deep trouble. L0L! After the news was American Idol again, so I watched it once again to make sure that the results were right. *Sighz* I still cannot believe that Anwar is gone because I feel that he is the best vocalist among all of the remaining contestants. Well, I suppose some things happen for a reason right? Hopefully, both him and Nikko get themselves a recording contract and do well in the future because they deserved it. I messaged my supervisor after American Idol to check if I needed to go to work tomorrow. To my surprise, he asked me to come, so that means I won't be so bored at home after all. L0L! I was quite shocked actually because I didn't receive a call or anything from him today ay all. Luckily, I did send a message to confirm if not I would be stuck at home tomorrow with nothing to do. L0L! He told me he didn't call because he was expecting my call instead. L0L! Oh well, I was actually waiting for his call the whole time. L0L! Anyway, I would not be doing much calling tomorrow I suppose. I would just do some checking on bad telephone numbers and verify them. I'm hoping it will last me the whole day and that I would be able to earn the full $45. L0L! Alright guys, it's kind of late already, considering the fact that I will have to go to work tomorrow. So I have no choice but to go now, try not to miss me ok? L0L! Just kidding, don't puke just yet. Anyway, take care and good nitez~! =] "Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes, and dance." - Oprah Winfrey

Financial Crisis
I arrived to work on time today and continued with the internal update for the whole day. I managed to complete everything by 5pm, so I just stayed in the office and slacked till 5:30pm. L0L! Most probably, I would not be going to work for tomorrow and Friday because I had already completed the assignment. That's why there is nothing left for me to do I supposed. In a way, it's a good thing that I won't have to work tomorrow and Friday because I can prepare my stuff before leaving for China on Sunday. L0L!
Anyway, I met my colleague just before lunch to pass her the money for the iPod Shuffle orders. L0L! There goes another $560 from my bank account. *Sighz* with that being said, I would really be glad if those people who still owe me money pay up soon. That's why I'm trying to get them to pay me at least by the end of next month. There's a reason that I even allowed them to borrow money from me and that is because I trust that they would return it to me. I'm not questioning whether they would or not because I know most of them would. Even if some of them refuse to return, I'll make sure they do. The thing is that, there are some of them who have owed me the money for months and it isn't just 1 or 2 months, but 4 to 5 months. I don't know how I can believe them any further if they just keep saying that they don't have enough money. I really hope that those people who still owe me money realise the situation that I'm in and pay me back once they are able to. Moving on, I managed to catch American Idol on Star World at 8am. The theme of the night was the "70s Dance Classics". L0L! Most of them did well, that's why I think it's going to be a shocking elimination tomorrow. L0L! My bottom 3 would be Anthony, Constantine and Scott this time. I'm really not sure at all, but I think it is time for Scott to head back home. He has been in the competition for way too long. Same goes for Anthony, but the thing is Anthony did much better compared to Scott today. L0L! Then again, I might get everything wrong because I don't know how America will base will decision on. Hopefully, they will make the correct decision by sending Scott back home. L0L! At the moment, I'm waiting for The Amazing Race to begin on Channel 5 at 10pm. I'm also thinking of what to do for the next 2 days. L0L! I need to do certain stuff before I leave for China. I have to pass Mal his cheque and get the money he owes me. I need to meet up with Kumar and get the facial cleanser from him. I also need to buy some stuff before I'm ready to leave the country. For example, I need to buy my hair gel and toothbrush. L0L! I also need to get the "Adidas Superstar 2" shoes from Queensway, which I have been talking about for such a long time. L0L! Lastly, the most important thing would be packing my suitcase to see what I need to buy before flying off to China. L0L! I'll just have to see what I can do tomorrow and come to a decision. I guess that's about it for today ya? Do drop me a message if you need me to get you anything from China and bid farewell to me before I leave ok? L0L! Alright people, that's all from me today. Virus!
Let's see... I got to work just on time today and continue with the internal update thing for the whole day. I completed all the leftovers from yesterday and realised that there are still many more call lists. L0L! In a way, it's a good thing because I can continue to work till Friday. The bad thing is that there are just so many to complete and I'm already kind of bored of it. L0L! Anyway, I learnt to verify some bad telephone numbers today as well, so it's pretty interesting. L0L! We'll just have to see how things go tomorrow and survive all the way till Friday. L0L!
Justin came by today in the noon time to collect his cheque. We went for lunch together after that and he left for Ngee Ann Polytechnic to get his laptop. L0L! I helped Mal to collect his cheque today as well because he was just too plain lazy to do it himself. L0L! Hopefully he won't be too lazy to come get it from me or I shall keep it for myself. L0L! Anyway, I've got news from my colleague about the iPod Shuffle. It will cost $140 for the 512MB one and $210 for the 1GB. That's way cheaper compared to the normal selling price. The thing is that the shipment only arrives on the first of June, so I'll have to wait pretty long. Hopefully I won't forget about it. L0L! I'm getting 2 of the 1GB iPod Shuffle, one for me and the other for Joa. I'm getting another 512MB iPod Shuffle for Mal. I'm paying for everything first, but Mal said he would return it to me by next week. I just realised that I won't be around next week, so I'm trying to get me to pay me by Saturday. L0L! After work, I met some friends at Funan Centre. We walked around and they bought they stuff they needed. After that 2 of them left for home, while me and Sian Yang went to find his jacket. In the end, he didn't manage to get what he wanted, so we went to get some New Zealand Ice Cream at Raffles City! We sat down there, chat and played with his laptop. L0L! We left at about 8:15pm to the MRT station and I got home about 9:30pm. L0L! I had a quick shower, came online and guess what? Some idiot sent a link to me that was actually a virus. That totally pissed me off, although I managed to get rid of the damn virus, it still deleted some of my files before I got rid of it. The thing is I do not know what files got deleted and that's just a really bad thing. *Sighz* just my luck I supposed. Anyway, there is no point in getting mad at this. I still have to sleep early tonight and get to work on time tomorrow, so I have to stop here. Hopefully everything would be alright with my computer and it will live to see another day. L0L! That's all I have for you people today. Have fun and good nitez~! =] "It's the soul's duty to be loyal to its own desires. It must abandon itself to its master passion." - Rebecca West

Loaner
I woke up pretty early today because I had to meet my big bro, Joa, at Yio Chu Kang at 9:30am. After my shower, I realised I had a missed call and a message. At first, I thought Joa had reached there already. L0L! Actually, it was my supervisor from work. I returned his call and he told me that he had things for me to do today, so I could take my time to go down. L0L! I told him I had to clear my passport stuff and will only be there in the afternoon. Luckily, he said it was alright with him when I thought he would tell me not to come. L0L!
I ended up late as usual and got to Yio Chu Kang only at 10:00am, but he was even worse. L0L! He only managed to get there at 11:00am. I accompanied him to Nanyang Polytechnic as he wanted to get his matriculation stuff from there. We completed everything by 11:30am, so I was pretty worried that I wasn't able to get my passport done my 1pm. I chose to take a cab down to the immigration centre in Lavender. We reached there about 11:45am and got everything done by 12:00pm. I wanted to update my photo in the passport, so I had to collect my passport at 12:30pm. We went for lunch first at Golden Mile Complex before returning back to collect my passport at about 1pm. L0L! So everything was settled and I will be heading for China this coming Sunday. After that, I withdrew "Some" (I'm not willing to reveal the actual figure. L0L!) cash to lend Joa as he had to pay his tuition fees. You guys can't blame me for having a good heart right? L0L! Alright, after that we took different trains to our destinations. L0L! I managed to reach the office by 1:45pm and I started doing some remedial calls for the Veritas workshop tomorrow. It turned out that half of them I called were not be able to make it tomorrow, so I think it's pretty bad. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly. L0L! After that, I did some internal update. It was pretty easy though because there wasn't really a quota or any expectations. I just had to get whatever I can, done. L0L! I tried convincing my supervisor to raise my pay, but he said that he was unable to because he wasn't the one in charge of that. Awww... Come on, I'm pretty sure he knows that I have been doing a really good job so far. *Sighz* never mind about that, it isn't the end of the world. L0L! I can always try my luck some other time. L0L! I got home for a nice warm shower to wash away all the rain water. L0L! Hopefully, I won't fall sick or anything because we had to walk in the rain after our lunch to get back to the immigration centre. L0L! Oh well, I'm going to continue doing the internal updates tomorrow and I was told by my supervisor that there were assignments for me to do till Friday. L0L! So no worries at all for now, but as you all should know by now, I think far ahead. That's why I'm thinking about what will happen when I return from China. Will I still have my job? Hopefully, there will still be assignments waiting for me to do as I still have 2 weeks to kill after I return from China. My Polytechnic only starts on 24th of May, but I am coming back on the 2nd of May. Yup, so it's about 2 weeks left for me to earn some cash. L0L! Anyway, I'm going to sleep early tonight as I didn't have enough rest today. I also have to wake up early tomorrow again for work. L0L! So that's it for today people! Oh, by the way, those of you guys looking for a good gnutella and file sharing portal, you can try Bearshare. I just downloaded it and it's really good. The transfers are fast and it doesn't take up too much space in your computer, so try it! The website you can get it from is at www.bearshare.com . Alright, that's all from me today. iPod!
I woke up before 10am today, which is rather unusual. L0L! I wasn't able to sleep any longer, but I have no idea why. L0L! Perharps, I had enough rest for the night or maybe I'm already used to waking up around that time? *Sighz* there goes my weekend of rest. L0L!
My day was pretty alright, I was supposed to meet my friends at 3pm in Orchard, but all of us ended up meeting at 4pm. L0L! Kumar wanted to get a school bag, so we went to Far East Plaza and got him his back. After that, we went to the Starbucks under California Fitness for a drink and a long chat. We couldn't think of anything to do after that, so they decided to head for home. L0L! When we already entered the MRT station, both Mal and I didn't want to reach home so early, so we decided to take the long way back. Then, Justin suggested that we go to the Apple Centre at Wheelock Place instead to check out on the iPods. We tried asking the person at the control station if we could leave the station for free since we didn't board the trains yet. He said if it was under 5 minutes it was still possible for him to update it, but unfortunately we were there for more than 5 minutes, so he couldn't do anything. L0L! We ended up taking the train down a station to Orchard MRT station. When we got to the Apple Centre in Wheelock Place, there were a lot of people around. L0L! We met Jun Wei who was from our Secondary School working in the shop. L0L! Too bad he wasn't able to give us a discounted price as he was only working there part time. We managed to gather more information on all the iPods as well as the laptops. We also had a good look on everything else they were selling there. The iPod Shuffle is really small, light and cool, but I don't know yet if I should get it. L0L! I'm trying to find a place where I am able to get a better price. L0L! We finished browsing through everything and left the shop close to 8pm. We left our separate ways to different bus stops to take our respective buses home. L0L! I waited for the 106 to come pretty long, but when it came, it was crowded and wasn't a bendy bus. *Sighz* just my luck eh? L0L! I got home around 9pm and saw my dad watching the FA Cup semi-finals between Newcastle United and Manchester United, so I joined him and watched for a little while before going for my shower. I came out of the shower just in time to catch The Apprentice on Channel 5. The task this week was to come up with a bottle and basically promote the new Pepsi Edge. L0L! Apex had an extra member in their team, so they chose Jennifer to go over as she was their weakest member according to Kelly. In the end, Apex won yet again as the bottle they designed was more suitable, unlike Mosaic's bottle. L0L! It was a war in the boardroom because Andy and Jennifer were teaming up against Sandy. Sandy didn't stand down though, she fought back with style and I just love how she countered everything. It was totally relevant and awesome, that's probably the reason why didn't get fire. In the end, it was Andy who got fired because he was basically beaten down by Sandy. L0L! I'm most slightly getting myself an iPod Shuffle because it can also be used as a thumb drive, so I won't have to waste money getting a thumb drive for my laptop. L0L! I think it's a pretty good deal and it's rather worth it. If I can get it at a cheaper rate then it would be so much better. L0L! Alright then, I shall stop here for now. Hopefully, I can get my iPod Shuffle before I leave for China. L0L! Take care and good nitez! =] "The best way to keep one's word is not to give it." - Napoleon Bonaparte

IMM
I woke up today at around 11am plus although I was still sleepy. My mum just had to wake me up to make me check my passport because my relatives were on the way to the tour agency to book tickets for the trip to China. L0L! Yup, it's finalised and I would be leaving Singapore next Sunday on the 24th of April. Woohoo! Well, I'm not that excited actually. L0L! The reason being it's China! L0L! Hopefully, I would be able to enjoy myself there and come back with good memories. L0L!
Anyway, I have to go to the immigration centre on Monday to get my passport extended because the validity date must be 6 months and more if not I won't be able to enter any other country. *Sighz* I'm not sure if I'll be able to extend though and I have to do it before 1pm because if I'm unable to extend it, my relatives can still cancel the bookings. So anyone can accompany me there? L0L! I don't want to go there alone because it's so far away. L0L! I met my friends at 3pm today at Jurong East MRT station to go to IMM. There was a 3 hour sales going on from 2pm to 5pm at IMM today and tomorrow, so I wanted to see if there was anything I could buy. There was a 30% off at this Chinese restaurant for their high tea dim sum. L0L! I wanted to try it out, so we went there and it was actually pretty expensive. The name of the restaurant was "Yunnan Garden" or something like that. The layout was very grand though and the total price for the 5 of us was about $67. It was quite cheap though, considering the fact that it was a pretty grand Chinese restaurant. We didn't have time to shop in the end because we stayed in the restaurant till about 5pm. L0L! After that, all of us went different ways. Garyson went with his friends to do some shopping, Sian Yang went to West Coast to play soccer and I headed home as my relatives were coming over. I got home at 5:45pm, took a shower and rested on my bed while waiting for them to come. L0L! I just love my bed so much that whenever I see it, I'll just jump over to it regardless of whether I'm tired or not. L0L! They came over at about 6pm plus and discussed about the China tour. Basically, we are going to 3 different areas in China, but most of it would be in Jiu Zhai Gou. That's one of the most scenic places in China with the valleys and all. L0L! We will be staying in a 5 star hotel as well for 3 days! Woohoo! I can go to the spa and swim for free because it’s all already in the package. Yay! L0L! Anyway, I need to start preparing and checking to make sure that I have everything with me before leaving on Sunday. Oh well, I think I have almost everything with me, so no worries at the moment. L0L! If any of you guys want me to help you buy anything from China, just drop me a message before I depart from Singapore ya? Most probably, I won't be bringing along my mobile phone because it's expensive and troublesome. L0L! So do tell me if you guys need anything ok? That's about it for today, so catch you guys soon~! =] "Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life. Aim above morality. Many Assignments...
I arrived on work today on time and there were pretty much stuff for me to do. I did some Veritas remedial calls, labelling of some envelopes, updating of certain companies and delivery of some stuff. L0L! Basically, I left the office about half an hour to follow the Director of the company in his car to the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). I had to help out in carrying some stuff from SGH back to the company. It was a free and fun trip though, because I was still earning my hourly pay although I wasn't doing much. L0L! When I got back into the office, I started to update the companies I had left from yesterday and it took less than an hour. I spent most of the time today doing the labelling of envelopes. My last hour was just doing remedial calls on behalf of Veritas for their workshop next Tuesday. After work, my supervisor said he would inform me again if I needed to come on Monday.
I was totally drained out when I got home today and I didn't have the energy to do much. I just slacked around and went online to chat with some friends. At 10pm, I caught Survivor Palau on Channel 5. Stephenie managed to survive on her own for about a day before the 2 tribes merged into 1. L0L! Stephenie went over to Koror and she was now officially one of their members. She was told by the rest of the members that it wasn't her turn to go home tonight. At the Immunity challenge, she was the last 3 standing, together with Tom and Caryn. The challenge was about will power and each of the survivors had to stand on the platform for the longest time that they could. At the 3 hour mark, Jeff Probst, the host tempted them with a pizza. Both Caryn and Stephenie couldn't resist the temptation and jumped off their platforms in the end, leaving Tom as the winner of the first Immunity challenge. However at Tribal Council, it was Coby who got voted off by the tribe. I received a message from my supervisor not too long ago and he said that I do not need to come on Monday as there aren’t any new assignments yet. *Sighz* oh well, Lil' Shawn will just have to be a good boy and wait for further instructions. L0L! He did ask me to check with him on Monday again if there was anything I can do next Tuesday. This means I have 3 days to slack and chill out with some of my friends. Perharps, I can do some shopping or something as well. L0L! I have not started planning out activities for the next 3 days. L0L! Well, I'll have to come out with something pretty soon. Alright guys, I don't have anything much left to say and I'm really too tired to think right now. I'll try to blog more tomorrow ya? New Assignment!
Woohoo! I survived in the company again! I'm still hanging in there guys! L0L! I had a new assignment today; basically it was some internal update stuff. I just had to verify the company's details and get some of their top executive's names and job titles. It was much easier than the time when I updated those banks company's information. The current assignment are basically updating details from Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and Multi-National Corporations (MNC), so it was much easier getting their details compared to banks. L0L! I would still be going back tomorrow, but I'm not too sure what assignment I would be doing. Perharps, I'll have to do the follow ups that I have and most probably a different assignment in the afternoon. It's all good at the moment, so I'm thinking about Monday right now if I'll still be around. L0L! It was a good day at work though because I managed to complete quite a lot of companies.
Anyway, I got my pay today! Woohoo! I managed to hit the 4 digit mark, my total was $1017. Yay! Apparently, when I looked at the cheque, I didn't feel that I accomplished a lot though. Perharps, I'm starting to think bigger when I realised I had already hit the 4 digit mark, but it's still good. I'm going to save the money first and try not to touch it. I'm not sure if I should get an iPod yet, but I'm waiting for my colleague to help me get it at a much cheaper rate. Hopefully, she will be able to get it or I would have to use my bargaining skills. L0L! After work, I went to the UOB bank below my office to drop my cheque in the cheque box. I can't wait to see the money in my bank once they have put it into my account. L0L! I conditioned my hair when I got home today and it felt so much lighter, smoother and softer. L0L! I haven't been conditioning my hair for a pretty long time already. Ever since I dyed my hair, I didn't condition it although I was advised to do so. L0L! I guess I'll have to start conditioning my hair more often now since I have that dry type of hair. My hair needs more moisture compared to others, so perharps conditioning it might help in a way or two hopefully. L0L! I watched American Idol at 8pm on Star World. It was an hour special results show and the bottom 3 each got to sing their favourite song from the entire series. The bottom 3 were Scott, Bo and Nadia. Scott sang Against All Odds, Bo chose to sing Remedy and I forgot the title of the song Nadia picked. L0L! Anyway, the bottom 2 for the week were Bo and Nadia. Eventually, Nadia left the competition this week. *Sighz* there goes another Negro this week. That’s 2 Negros gone in consecutive weeks. I felt that it was a fair result sending Nadia home because she didn't do well at all last night. Hopefully either Anwar or Vonzell would be the next American Idol, and then we'll have 3 consecutive Negro winners. L0L! Oh dear, I'm currently out of songs. I need to start listening to the radio again and download new songs for my iPod Shuffle once I get it. L0L! If I am able to get the ear piece for my Nokia 8310, then I would be able to listen to the radio while on the way to work everyday. That will keep me occupied for my journey to work, considering the fact that I'm unable to get the "Today" newspaper anymore. I really need something to accompany me on my journey to work if not I would really be bored to death. L0L! *Sighz* I'll check out the ear piece price from my work place because they sell it downstairs. Hopefully it's cheap then I'll get to listen to the radio every morning while getting to work. L0L! Well, I guess that would be it for today. I'm currently looking for a William Shakespeare book that contains all his quotes, poems, etc. I'm just interested to read some literature stuff and get inspired by all his quotes, poems and much more. So if any of you guys know where I can get such a book, do drop me a message ya? I'll really appreciate it! Thanks! Alright then, cya all tomorrow! =] "Courage is saying, "Maybe what I'm doing isn't working; maybe I should try something else."" - Anna Lappe

Last Day At Work?
I met Wei Qiang at around 8:15am today at Bukit Batok Interchange as we were going to Ngee Ann Poly for our Matriculation stuff. We reached Ngee Ann Poly at about 8:45am and luckily the queue was short, furthermore, everything went pretty smoothly and we got things done by 10am. We could have ended earlier, but there were many stations to get to and the notebook fair took up a hell lot of our time.
Anyway, there were a total of 5 different orientation camps for us, but only 2 were compulsory. The first compulsory one was the freshmen orientation camp and the second compulsory one was the Electronic and Computer Engineering orientation. I won't be going for the freshmen orientation though; I just said I won't be in Singapore. L0L! Actually, I used the same excuse for all the other 3 optional camps as well. I would most slightly be going for the Electronic and Computer Engineering orientation though, just to get to know people from the similar course as myself. Anyway, I managed to reach my office by 10:45am. I basically did the Canon's seminar reminder calls for the whole day. I have already cleared as much as I could. There were around 230 people who confirmed their attendance for the seminar, around 40 who won't be turning up, about 10 who were uncontactable and around 20 who have yet to confirm. L0L! Luckily, I will still be going back tomorrow, but it might be my last day because there aren't any upcoming assignments at the moment. *Sighz* hopefully, there might be something for me to do, so that I can still earn some cash before poly starts. L0L! I didn't really ask for a raise in my pay today though because I don't think my supervisors would actually raise it. L0L! Hopefully, they change their mind about it. I'll be getting my pay either by tomorrow or Friday, which is the latest. That's what I heard from my colleague as she heard my supervisor calling the rest of my colleagues up and telling them to come on Friday to collect their pay. I left the office about 6pm today and reached home close to 7pm. I managed to catch American Idol on Star World at 8am at night and theme was songs from their year of birth. The underdogs of the competition did pretty well today such as Anthony, Constantine and Vonzell. Anwar managed to put on another wonderful performance this week. As for both Bo and Carrie, they didn't perform very well today. Scott managed to do a pretty alright performance, but I felt that he was just so damn arrogant. L0L! However, Nadia had the worst performance of the night, so I won't be surprised if she gets voted out next. My bottom 3 would be Carrie, Nadia and Scott. Unfortunately, I think Nadia would be the next to go. *Sighz* I'm currently watching The Amazing Race right now, so I'm taking a pretty long time to complete this blog entry. L0L! Rob and Amber as well as Ron and Kelly are currently leading the pack though, but all the teams are pretty close. I have the feeling that this would be a non-elimination leg. Anyway, it's a 2 hour special today and the second hour is a recap of all the previous episodes. Oh, the first hour just finished, Rob and Amber stepped onto the mat first, but that wasn't the pit stop. The host, Phil, just handed them their next clue and the screen went black saying "To Be Continued". L0L! So I'm really excited about next week's episode. Alright guys, I'm going to continue watching the second hour special right now, I'll blog some other time. 200 Hits!
Lil' Shawn arrived on work today on time as usual. L0L! Anyway, my task was pretty easy; all I had to do were reminder calls to those who reserved a seat for the Canon seminar. There were a total of 278 reserved seats and I managed to confirm about 180 of them including those from yesterday. I made a total of more than 200 calls today, so that was the highest number of calls I have ever hit before. L0L! There were about 30 of them who reserved seats, but won't be able to make it in the end. I also had about 50 uncontactables and follow ups to do from tomorrow onwards. I managed to comb through all the 278 by 5:00pm today and I tried doing some of the follow ups after that. I'm not sure what else I would be doing tomorrow because I do not have enough follow ups to last me the whole of tomorrow. L0L!
Anyway, I would be going to work tomorrow a little later as I have to go for my Ngee Ann Poly matriculation. Although the allocated time for me is from 3pm to 5pm because my surname is Tan, but I called them and asked if it was possible for me to come earlier. They said it's perfectly alright to come earlier if I'm unable to come at my allocated time, so I'll be going at the earliest time, which is 8:30am. After that, I would be heading straight to work as fast as I can. Yup, so I'm hoping that Wei Qiang and I would be the first 2 to reach there and that everything goes smoothly, so I would be able to reach work before 10am. L0L! Hopefully, there won't be a lot of people there or anything, so we'll able to get things done quickly and proceed from station to station fast. I was supposed to withdraw some cash for my dad today, so I tried doing it during lunch. When I reached the UOB ATM machine, I realised that I forgot my pin number. L0L! I have not been touching the ATM for about a month, so I didn't remember my pin number. I had to ring home and get the number before I was able to withdraw some cash. L0L! It was really hilarious and pretty dumb that I could even forget about my pin number. Anyway, when I was on the way home, I was thinking of asking my supervisor to raise my pay because I completed everything I was supposed to today. L0L! He probably won't though, but Lil' Shawn has been a good boy lately because I arrived to work on time, did overtime, completed everything assigned to me and did multi tasking too. So I deserved a raise in my pay right? I can demand it correct? L0L! I won't push my luck though; I might end up getting fired in the end. L0L! There is a possibility that I might get an increment though because I feel that I have been very committed to my job recently. L0L! You guys should know the drill after work already right? I went home, took a shower, and had my dinner. L0L! Those are the standard kind of stuff once I get back home. Anyway I managed to catch Charmed on Star World at 8pm. It was damn funny, but exciting at the same time. I think that was 1 of the best episodes in recent weeks, but I really can't wait to see what happens if the Charmed ones decide to become Avatars just like Leo. Hopefully, I don't miss any of the episodes from now on. I'm still trying to search for the charmed series in HMV and Gramophone, but both of them still don't seem to have it. *Sighz* I want to watch all the seasons till the current one shown on Star World before poly starts, if not I won't have the time to do so. L0L! That's about all I have to blog about today, cya all real soon k? =] "When you make a world tolerable for yourself, you make a world tolerable for others." - Anais Nin

*Yawnz*
It was a pretty slack, but extremely boring day for me. L0L! I arrived on work on time and sat at the Canon's registration hotline desk to deal with inbound calls as well as some admin work. I cleared most of the stuff and verified all the necessary information by 11am. I continued with some other paper work till 12pm. L0L! There were a couple of inbound calls with interested parties, but luckily for me there wasn’t any problematic case. L0L! I went for lunch at 1:30pm today and I had my lunch and went up at about 2pm. Although my lunch break was till 2:30pm, I didn't really have anything to do downstairs as I have been walking around the place since February 22. L0L! My supervisor was good though, he told me to take a rest at my work station first and to look for him again at 2:30pm. L0L! So I went online and chatted with some of my friends who were online.
Time flew past really fast while I was enjoying chatting with my friends. I got back to work and completed everything I was supposed to do my 3pm. So I just sat there waiting for inbound calls, emails and online registrations, however nothing came along. My supervisor gave me a reminder list to call at around 4pm. It was a list of people who reserved a seat for the seminar; all I had to do was to confirm their attendance on Friday. L0L! It was pretty easy because I didn't have to verify any details or tell them about the seminar. I did overtime till about 6pm today, so for the 2 hours, I managed to make about 72 calls. There are about a total of 300 people to call and I have till Wednesday. I think it is very possible for me to complete it on Wednesday although I would most slightly be taking a half day because I have to register for my poly stuff. *Sighz* L0L! I left the office around 6pm and went to guardian to get my shampoo, which I wanted to get for sometime already. The brand is called Palm Olive, basically they invented this anti-stress Aroma Therapy shampoo and I'm really interested to see if it is able to calm me down. L0L! There was a promotion, so it came together with a shower get and the total was only $4.45. L0L! That's cheaper than most shampoo, considering the fact that this package included a shower gel as well. It was definitely a good deal, which I managed to take. L0L! I got home close to about 7pm, had my shower and dinner as usual. I'm really tired today though, probably because I slept quite late last night. L0L! Actually I intended to do some reading after I'm done blogging, but my eyes are already closing right now as I blog. L0L! I'll probably have an early night for today and wake up tomorrow refresh, full of zest and simply ready to go! L0L! I guess I have to stop here eh? L0L! I can't wait to get my pay on Thursday! Woohoo! I think I hit the 1k mark last month and I'm excited to just see the cheque! L0L! Alright people, got to go, chill yea? =] "Make the best use of what is in your power, and take the rest as it happens." - Epictetus

Tyco Day...
I woke up today with the intention of a good rest at home, but I also felt like going out of the house to do something as well. L0L! I woke up about 12:30pm, washed up and went online. Anwar talked to me online asking me to go somewhere. We decided to meet at Jurong Entertainment Centre about 3pm. I had my lunch at home and took a shower before I left my house to meet him. He told me he would be able to reach at about 2:45pm and I thought I would make it there about 2:30pm. L0L! In the end, I only managed to get there about 2:50pm. Finally, we managed to meet up after so many years! L0L! Alright, I shall not exaggerate, but it was months ago since we last met up if I'm not wrong, so I'm glad we managed to meet today. L0L!
Anyway, we decided to play pool as Anwar had to reach home by 6pm so we only had about 3 hours. Before we went to play pool, we headed to the cash converter, which was nearby. I wanted to check how much I could sell off both my minidisc players because I really want to buy the iPod Shuffle. I was thinking that if I can sell off both of minidisc players, then I might have enough money to get my iPod Shuffle or perharps just chip in a little bit instead of paying the full $268. L0L! In the end when I got to the cash converter store, they told me that my they will buy my Panasonic MD player for $40 and my Sony MD player for $50 to $60. That was really pathetic because I am pretty sure my Panasonic MD player can get me about $100 and my Sony MD player might fetch me about $200. So there was no way that I would sell them at the cash converter store. L0L! We went to play pool after that for 10 rounds. L0L! We alternated between the 8-ball and 9-ball games. Luck was with me the whole time because I had shots that I really didn't expect to go in. L0L! It was really one of those lucky days of mine. L0L! I think Anwar played really well though; all his shots were really skillful unlike mine. L0L! In the end, I managed to use my luck to my advantage and won 7 to 3 in the 10 rounds we played. It was fun though because I haven't been touching the cue for months. After our game, we went for dinner at KFC because I wanted to try their new Curry Crunch chicken. Firstly, it didn't taste like curry and secondly, it wasn't spicy at all. I don't think that I'll be ordering that again for quite some time. L0L! Anwar told me that although we managed to find time today to meet up; it wasn't as fun as last time because we didn't have a common topic. I agreed with him because I'm no longer in Tanglin Secondary anymore as I had moved on, so there really wasn't much to talk about. We still had a good time though. After dinner we both went our separate ways. I went to West Mall to get dinner home for my family and I had to wait at both the food court as well as the Mos Burger. I was really getting impatient and all, but I didn't lose it because it was normal as usual. L0L! I got home to a nice and cold shower before coming back online and searching over the net for people that took in second hand MD players. L0L! I called 1 of them up and they did take MD players in. I asked for the price that they are willing to pay and they told me it was about $80 to $100, which was twice that of the cash converter store. Well, I guess I'll be heading down there soon. The shop is at Queensway Shopping Centre and perharps; I could get my shoes there as well as I am on the way. L0L! Then I'll be able to get my iPod Shuffle as well with the money I get from selling off my MD players. Woohoo! L0L! I also need to get down to either Funan Centre or Sim Lim Square over the next weekends. I need to get a good laptop that is able to pass my requirements. L0L! I'm not sure if I'm going with my dad or with my friends, but I'll probably get a Toshiba laptop. I don't think that I'll be getting any of the laptops from the school because all of them don't seem to be really good. All of them are Intel Celeron, which I totally do not wish to have. Instead, I would get Intel Pentium 4 because its way faster and better compared to Intel Celeron. L0L! After I was done searching for people who took in second hand MD players, I turned on the television at 7:30pm to catch "What Women Want" on channel 5. Although I missed the first half an hour of the show, I still managed to follow it till the end. It was just an alright movie, I don't think it was that funny at all. L0L! I caught the news after that and now, I'm watching The Apprentice as I'm blogging. L0L! Wes and Maria are both getting fired in this episode as I read from the official website. L0L! Wes just wasn't a good leader and Maria wasn't a good team player, so it was pretty unfortunate. In the very first place, Wes shouldn't have sent Kelly over to the Apex team because Kelly was the best in their team. If he sent Maria over instead, it might have been a totally different thing. Anyway, their task was to promote Levis jeans, which was really interesting. I really want to get a pair of Levis jeans as well, but not at this very moment. L0L! Alright guys, I'm done blogging, so I'm going to continue watching The Apprentice and see both Wes and Maria get fired. L0L! Hope to see all of you really soon too ya? Alright then, take good care and god bless! =] "Guard well within yourself that treasure, kindness. Vision Test
I woke up today really early about 9am, considering the fact that it is a Saturday. L0L! I met Wei Qiang at the McDonalds in our Bukit Batok area about 9:30am. We had to figure out where the clinic was to do our vision test. We soon realised that it was just beside the McDonalds. The test took less than 5 minutes. L0L! Basically, there was this booklet the clinic had and inside there were pages full of colours and a digit in the centre. All we had to do was to say what the digit in the centre was, each of us had about 5 different numbers to figure out and that cost us $5 each. L0L! We went for breakfast after that and I accompanied Wei Qiang to take his photo at a nearby shop. We headed for home after that.
I reached home at about 11am and didn't have the time to take a nap. L0L! The reason was that I was meeting up with another group of friends later at 2pm in Orchard. I went online and took a look at some laptops that Acer, Dell, IBM and Toshiba had to offer. L0L! I don't think I would be buying my laptop from the school because all of them aren't very good at all. I would prefer to get a better one outside that isn't Intel Pentium Celeron. L0L! My dad did tell me that Toshiba is a good laptop for engineering. Hopefully I would be able to get a better deal outside of school. L0L! I met up with my friends at Orchard at 2pm; basically it was a waste of time because we didn't do anything. I also wasted my transport fees and stuff to go all the way down and come back. We first went to check out the movie timings, but apparently didn't get any tickets. Then, we went to pay my friend's school fees at the MDIS private school at Dolby Ghaut. After that, we went for lunch at Cineleisure. Next, I accompanied them to shop at John Little besides Somerset MRT station. They went to HMV after that for a pretty long time and I just waited outside the store. After all that, we left for home, so I thought it was a really waste of my time and money. L0L! I didn't feel like going for so early, so I went to West Mall to do some shopping. L0L! I managed to get 2 really nice t-shirts as well as an inspirational poster, which I put up on my door. L0L! This will make me look at it every time I enter my room and hopefully, give me some encouragement. The poster is basically a poem about not quitting or giving up when the odds are against you. I also went to check out the price of a 1GB Ipod Shuffle at Cyberactive, the person told me it was $200 plus, I couldn't remember the exact price. I checked it up again when I got home and checked it up, I realised it cost $268. *Sighz* I really want to get an Ipod Shuffle because I really like it a lot, but I just can't bear to come out with that kind of money. L0L! Anyway, I was left with little cash after I was done shopping, so I just skipped my dinner. L0L! I reached home at about 8:45pm. I took a quick shower and discussed with my dad about the poly forms I had to fill up. He filled those things that he needed to fill up and told me that he will get my mum to go to the bank to help me pay the school fees, so no worries. L0L! Hopefully, they would not need me to be there on the spot to pay for the school fees because I won't have the time to go down and pay for it because I'm working and I do not wish to take leave or half day or anything. L0L! Luckily, my dad understood my situation. L0L! I'm not certain of what I'll be doing tomorrow though; most probably I'll be resting and slacking at home. L0L! I'm too lazy to go out tomorrow and waste my time and money again because it isn't worth while, considering the fact that I'm paying the adult fare price now. L0L! I'll probably stay at home and do some reading or gaming or something else unless something pops up. L0L! I'll be doing admin work on Monday in the office and hopefully I don't screw up or do anything wrong. L0L! Although my colleague has already taught me how to do her admin work, I'm afraid that I didn't get everything in and something might slip off as I can be quite forgetful at times. L0L! Hopefully, everything goes well and to plan and then maybe I'll get a raise in my pay? I hope so! L0L! Alright then, I'm off now! Ciao! =] "Everyone should carefully observe which way his heart draws him, and then choose that way with all his strength." - Hasidic Saying

I'm The True Survivor! =]
Hmmm... I managed to get to work on time again and had a pretty good start. I made outbound calls from 9am to 10:15am and managed to get a registration for my last call at 10:15am. L0L! I was handling inbound calls from 10:15am to about 11:45am because my colleague had to do some other stuff. I continued with my callings after that till 12:30pm, and then I went for my lunch break. I had to take passport size photographs for my Ngee Ann Poly admission stuff. The photos turned out pretty good, Lil' Shawn really looks good in photos! L0L!
I went back up to work at 2:30pm and did more calls till about 4:30pm, but I didn't manage to get any registrations between that time. So the total number of registrations that I managed to get today was just 1. L0L! At 4:30pm, I had to learn some admin stuff from my colleague who won't be around on Monday, so I'll have to take over her place. Hopefully, I do things correctly and up to standard if not I'll be pretty much screwed. L0L! I left the office at 5:45pm and headed straight home. It was the end of the week and I was really tired after 5 continuous long days at work. L0L! Anyway, I'm going to cancel the chalet that we were supposed to have from the 25th to 28th of this month because everybody seems to be pulling out. *Sighz* I'll have to pay a 25% fine if I cancel it before the 11th of April and a 50% fine after the 11th. For the 25% fine, it's going to be cost me $37 and that sucks. I can't believe I'm paying for something that isn't my fault. Hopefully, these people who pulled out of the chalet at the last minute will have the initiative to split the cost with me or else I would have nothing else to say. I have an appointment at the clinic tomorrow at 9am for my vision test. I'll be going with Wei Qiang and hopefully there won't be a long queue. L0L! I'll most probably be going out again in the afternoon with a group of my friends or something, but I'm not certain if I should go. L0L! Anyway, I managed to catch Survivor and not fall asleep while watching it. L0L! Apparently, there still wasn't a merge between both the tribes. L0L! The poor Ulong tribe lost yet again in both the reward and immunity challenges. They came close in the reward challenge and were in front for the immunity challenge, but eventually lost at the end during the puzzle. This led to an individual immunity challenge between Bobby Jon and Stephenie. The winner would remain in the game, while the loser will be out of the game. It was a challenge in making fire, you could see the smile on Bobby Jon's face as he knew he was way better than Stephenie at that. I thought so too and knew that Bobby Jon would most probably win the challenge. Eventually, Stephenie won the challenge and Bobby Jon was eliminated from Survivor. Stephenie went back to camp alone and we will have to see what will happen next week. It's already down to 9 individuals and usually, this is the time when the jury is form, but I'm now really uncertain of what is going to happen next. I must admit that this Survivor: Palau has been 1 of the best seasons for a very long time. L0L! Alright guys, I have to go to bed now. L0L! I still have to wake up early again tomorrow. L0L! That's the kind of thing that Lil' Shawn doesn't like doing!!! L0L! Oh well, I'm still young, so I'll have to enjoy as much as possible! L0L! Ok, I'm done here! Sighz...
The day didn't turn out very well today at all. Although I started off pretty good, but towards the evening, everything went pretty bad. L0L! I managed to reach work just on time today, it was extremely close and I thought I might have been late. L0L! The first half of the day was really slack, I made less than 20 calls because I had other stuff to do and learn. L0L! After lunch, I continued with my callings and managed to get 3 registrations, which I felt was pretty good. L0L! I only managed to leave the office at 6pm as my supervisor had some things he wanted to tell me. The good news is that I'll be going back to work tomorrow and Monday, but I'm not sure if I'll still be around after Monday. L0L!
When I was making my way to the MRT station, I realised that one of my colleague is being paid $6.50 per hour. Every time when she's late and arrives at 9:30am, she still earns more than us at the end of the day. The amount she earns is $45.50 for 7 hours, meaning she gets paid $6.50 an hour. How about Shawn? L0L! Why does he only gets paid $6 per hour? L0L! I want $6.50 too!!! *Sighz* that was the first bad thing for the day. When I was on the MRT on the way to Bukit Batok Interchange, I received this phone call from I have no idea who. The person said I won a consolation prize for who knows what. It was a 2 day 1 night stay at Sentosa with some other additional stuff. I went "Wow", but just before I arrived at the interchange, I saw a road accident. That was the second bad thing. After I saw that accident, the person on the phone verified my name and told me that she got the wrong number. I was really disappointed and pissed off after that. L0L! That was the third thing that didn't go according to plan. L0L! I got home around 6:45pm, had a good shower and a good meal. I missed the first 15 minutes of American Idol on Star World at 8pm. That's the fourth bad thing. As for the fifth bad thing, which was also the worst of everything else that happened today was that Nikko Smith got eliminated from American Idol. That was totally unexpected because I didn't think he will even be in the bottom 3. *Sighz* the bottom 3 were Nikko, Vonzell and Scott. I felt that both Nikko and Vonzell did really well and shouldn't be in the bottom 3, but as for Anthony, he was the worst last night and he wasn't even in the bottom 3. I have no idea how America could let such a talented person like Nikko Smith go. *Sighz* I also received the package from Ngee Ann Polytechnic today. It was filled with forms that I had to fill up and many complicated things to do. I had to go take a passport size photo, get my vision check, pay for the school fees, buy a laptop and so many other stuff. *Sighz* this was the sixth bad thing of the day. I tried logging into my blog since 9:45pm and I just couldn't because of this damn lousy thing as usual. L0L! This brings us to the seventh bad thing of the day. *Sighz* It just really wasn't my day. I'm getting my passport size photo taken tomorrow and probably do the vision thing on Saturday. Alright I have to get to sleep now, so that I can get up tomorrow and get to work on time as well. L0L! Jobless? Hmmm...
I arrived on time for work today, but my day at work simply sucks. L0L! In the morning, there was a briefing by my supervisor that either today or tomorrow would be the last day for this Canon seminar assignment. He told us that he might shift some of us to some new assignments, but they might not require all of us. Well, that sucks because I had the worst performance in this assignment out of everybody else involved in it. L0L! Work continued to suck as I only managed to get a single registration. *Sighz*
However at the end of the day, my supervisor told us that we will still be continuing to do this assignment tomorrow. The tricky part is that he only required 2 out of the 3 of us. I did get call back for tomorrow though, but I felt guilty because my other colleague who performed better than me in this assignment didn't get call back. I felt that she was more deserving of the call back more than me. *Sighz* I'm not sure when the assignment would start though because my supervisor said not to come on Friday, but to come next Monday. At the end of the day though, he said he will tell us again tomorrow. L0L! There's no doubt that I'm confused, but I'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully, there will still be assignments available for all of us till we are ready to leave the company. L0L! I have come to the decision of going to China with my relatives rather than staying in Singapore just for this job. The reason being I rarely get to go overseas to enjoy and relax, so this is a rare chance that I should not miss out on. I love travelling to different places, so I'm really hoping that they managed to find a good tour agency with available vacancies. L0L! I'll be really disappointed if I don't get the chance to go overseas yet again. L0L! If I really don't get the chance to go to China, I'll probably just continue working till my school reopens or something. L0L! I got home much earlier today at about 6:15pm? L0L! I left the office right on the mark and the traffic was smooth, so I had a wonderful journey back home. L0L! I caught American Idol on Star World at 8am again. The theme of the night was basically songs from musicals, something that I'm not too familiar with myself. I didn't know a single song that they sing too. L0L! Majority of them did a good job though except for Scott and Anthony. I feel that both of them should really be in the bottom 3 this week, I don't know who the other one would be and I'm not to worry about that as well. The reason being I'm pretty sure Anthony would be gone this week as his performance was the worst among the rest. If it isn't him going, then it will have to be Scott because I really don't see anyone else leaving the compeitition this week except for the 2 of them. Yup, I'm now waiting for The Amazing Race to commerce; I can't wait to see who gets eliminated this week. L0L! It's down to 6 teams and things are really starting to heat up. Hopefully, Brian and Greg would still be able to keep themselves in the compeitition because they do not deserve to be out just yet. L0L! Well, I guess I'll be stopping here for now because the race is about to begin real soon. I'll cya all some other time again ya? =] "If you can react the same way to winning and losing, that is a big accomplishment. Charmed
It was a pretty good day considering the fact that I started the day off pretty well by arriving on time for work. L0L! No Banana for you Sian Yang! L0L! Yesterday he made a bet with me that if I arrive late for work today, I'll have to buy him a banana. L0L! I managed to get 3 registrations today for the Canon seminar and we were also informed that there is a new Microsoft assignment starting some time this week. The new assignment only required us to update and verify the company's details, so I can't wait to get to it. L0L! Anyway, there were 500 new call lists for the Canon seminar and I already took a 100 pieces. Another colleague of mine also took 100 pieces, means we are left with 300 new call lists and plenty of follow ups. L0L! The new call lists will probably be combed through by Thursday by all of us and I think the Microsoft assignment starts either tomorrow or Thursday, so I'm hoping that I'll get to do that. L0L!
I didn't have to handle inbound calls today, so my lunch break was from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. My colleague had a job interview on the 10th floor, so we went up together with another colleague. L0L! Basically, it was a sales job, which didn't have a basic pay. It was promoting some gold EZ Link card, which I thought was pretty useless as nobody would be interested in buying anyway. L0L! My colleague decided to walk off when she realised that there wasn't a basic pay. She said no matter how good the commission is the basic pay is still a must. We went for lunch together and got back to the office by 1:25pm. L0L! I left the office at about 5:40pm today as I had to clear all the paperwork I had and sort things out. L0L! I left together with my colleagues to the MRT station and we went our separate ways after that. When I got to my interchange, I went to the local flea market and got myself a Calvin Klein wallet! L0L! I managed to bargain till $15. L0L! Good deal yeah? I got home and I wanted to have my dinner fast as Charmed was on Star World at 8pm, but the gas ran out. My mum had to call the guy to deliver the gas and I missed the first 15 minutes of Charmed. L0L! It was still good though, but I can't miss next week's episode as it is really going to be solid! L0L! Anyway, I just called Sian Yang up and he was on his way to the doctor. *Sighz* Poor thing, he's having a fever again. Man, I really hope he takes care of his health and not push himself too hard in anything. No worries though, Shawn is always here whenever anybody needs support! I'll be there for you, these five words I swear to you! L0L! Yup, if you need someone to talk to or confine in or whatsoever, Lil' Shawn will always be here ya? =] Oh, I'm now officially addicted to Usher's "Caught Up". The first time I listened to it, I didn't like it at all, just when I listened to "Confessions Part 2". L0L! But now, I can't stop listening to it, his songs are just so addictive. L0L! You guys have to check out that song; it's a must listen! L0L! Anyway, there was no "Today" newspaper today at both the interchanges again. I don't know what happened, but I want to get a copy tomorrow! L0L! I'll be booked on Saturday by Anwar. We're going to watch "Be Cool" and probably do some other stuff after that. I'm not sure if I'm going to ask anyone else yet, because I'm just too lazy to do so. L0L! I might ask a few people though on Friday or something. I'm just afraid that I won't be able to make it again. *Sighz* hopefully nothing pops up AGAIN, which is really sickening. L0L! American Idol and The Amazing Race will be on tomorrow, so don't miss it for the world ok? L0L! That's also a reminder for me, so I won't forget about it. I'm going off to do some reading right now and chat online at the same time. L0L! Cya soon~! =] "Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Wallets!!!
Wah! It was a good day at work today, everything went smoothly. L0L! I had many duties today as well. L0L! In the morning I arrived the earliest so far since I started work, by 10 minutes. L0L! I had pretty slow start as I didn't have the mood to make calls or talk. L0L! I did manage to get 1 registration just before I switched to handle inbound calls. I was handling inbound calls from 12pm to 1pm, but as usual, there were no calls at all except for the call made by my supervisor to test me again! L0L!
My lunch break was from 1pm to 2pm, there were lots of people in all the food outlets at that time, so I decided to go to the bank first. I deposited the $70 I had earned from my surveyor boss into the cash deposit machine and I went off for lunch. Oh I just remembered something too; I didn't manage to get the "Today" newspaper from both Bukit Batok and Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. I wondered what happened; I need the papers everyday to keep me occupied when I'm on the MRT, after lunch and while waiting for inbound calls. L0L! *Sighz* let’s just hope that I'll get a copy tomorrow. After lunch, I headed back and I had to verify the days and working hours I did in March, which I completed within half an hour. After that, I was given some updating and verifying to do as well, I completed that within half an hour. I continued to do my callings, which didn't yield any results at all. L0L! I only had a single registration for like 5 hours? I had to do some verifying of details between now and then, but I managed to hit 3 registrations after 4pm. L0L! 2 of the registration were from the same company, meaning I killed 2 birds with 1 stone again. L0L! I ended the day with a total of 4 registrations, much to my satisfaction. L0L! I completed by report and left the office by 5:45pm. I met Justin up at Jurong East where he passed to me a CD, which he wanted me to help him burn. After I got the CD from him, I proceeded back to Bukit Batok. While I was waiting for my bus to come, I went to the local flea market that was going on besides the bus interchange. There were pretty nice stuff at good deals, but I only paid attention to the leather wallet collections they had. There were Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Pragda, Nike and many more branded wallets on sales. I really liked the Calvin Klein and Nike wallets on display, there were some at $15 and others at $18. I'll most probably be getting one tomorrow! L0L! Although I wanted to get Versace or Valentino, but I didn't see any there, so Calvin Klein would be just fine. L0L! I reached home for a nice shower and a good meal. Then I came online to chit chat and waste some time. L0L! Now I'm officially feeling tired, so that's it from me, you're on your own now! L0L! Slow...
It was a very slow day, everything took place slowly and time passed by slowly. L0L! I woke up at 11am today to prepare for the day. First, I met up with my surveyor boss to collect my pay, which is $70! Yay! L0L! Although it isn't a lot, but I finally got rid of all those survey forms that were rotting in my room. After that, I went for service for the first time in about 2 months? L0L! Then, I watched my church friends play soccer before going to Jurong Point for dinner. I took a bus back home, which took me about 45 minutes to get home? I reached home around 10:15pm and took a shower. I missed the first half an hour of The Apprentice, but I didn't miss out on the more exciting parts. L0L!
Man, I'm tired and exhausted and I can't think of anything to blog. *Sighz* I have to start thinking of a topic each day to blog about from now on. L0L! Maybe you guys can help me out here by suggesting what I write in my entries? That will be sweet~! L0L! Anyway, I'm good at giving advice, so if you guys are feeling down and need somebody to share your problems with, I'm always here. =] I have not been reading a lot lately, actually I have not been doing a lot lately ever since I got this job. I don't have the energy to read the untouched books in my cabinet or read the newspapers. I'm making a habit to get a copy of the "Today" newspapers everyday before I get to work. At least, I'll have something to do on the train and time will fly faster then just standing there and waiting to get to my stop. L0L! I like "Today" newspaper as well because it sums up everything in short articles unlike other newspapers. As for the books in my cabinet, I'll have to get back to them when I've got the time and energy. L0L! Another thing is my Xbox, I have not touched it for quite some time already even though I bought new games. L0L! Isn't that really ironic? I have no idea why too, maybe it just doesn't attract me that much as I thought it would. *Sighz* I'm still addicted to reality television programmes though such as American Idol, The Amazing Race, Survivor and The Apprentice. The only English series I watch is Charmed, I don't remember watching any other series or dramas. L0L! I don't have much time to do anything on weekdays anymore. Usually, I'll reach home at the earliest 6:30pm if not, 7pm. I'll take a shower once I get home and have my dinner. After that I'll watch the television if any of my programmes are on and I usually blog after that. By the time, it will be around 10pm or 10:30pm? With that in mind, I'll be already so sleepy by that time and won't have the mood to do anything else. L0L! That's why I have not been reading or gaming a lot. As for my weekends, I usually will be out with my friends or resting at home. I'll be mentally drained and won't have the mood to do anything else. L0L! Most of the time, I'm usually out during the weekends though. L0L! At the moment, I'm quite bored of going to the same places with the same people all the time. Things are going to change when the weekends approach again, I'll find some place in Singapore that I have never been to and enjoy it while it last. Muahahaha!!! L0L! Oh dear, I'm starting to sound lame now. Kk, that's all from me today, take care people! =] "Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others." - Robert Louis Stevenson

ZzZzZ
I pretty much didn't do anything today at all. L0L! I slept till about 1pm and woke up for lunch. I took a shower and slacked at the computer till about 4pm before leaving my house for my relative's place. It was my baby cousin's full month, so I was pretty much forced to go. I did have activities for the day, but well family is still important as well. I reached my relative's place about 5pm and the little baby was asleep. L0L! He was adorable though, reminds me of myself! L0L! Anyway, my aunties discussed with me about planning a trip to I reached home around 9:30pm? I'm thinking right now about plans for tomorrow. I have no activities at the moment, but I'm not sure what I should do tomorrow. It has been a long time since I last drop by in church. Perharps, I should do that tomorrow if nothing comes up or if I don't have any plans. Well, my entry is really short today because I don't have much to say. L0L! That's why I'll have to stop right here. Alright then, cya soon~! =] "The only true happiness comes from squandering ourselves for a purpose." - William Cowper

April Fool!
What a way to start of a brand new month. L0L! Want to make a guess? Yes, you're right! I was late for work! Let me just tell you why right now. I slept at 10+pm the previous night and I had already fallen into my beauty sleep when calls and messages came flooding in around 12am to 1am. I was fed up and I switched off the vibration on my phone, but I had forgotten that the phone's vibration is also my morning alarm as I had put my phone to silent. Well, so I didn't have any ringing tone or vibration as my morning alarm. I woke up half an hour late and I reached work about 9:10am. It really sucks to be late for work on the first day of the month, but nonetheless I'll try not to be late AGAIN! L0L! Work today started off pretty bad. I had around 5 to 6 consecutive scolding over the phone by the receptionists or secretaries, some executives as well. Well, I'm going to keep what I say short but sharp. For your information my dears, you are all nothing but small flies in my eyes. L0L! You may be stuck up and rude or whatever, but I don't really care because we are all still humans. Furthermore, that just proves that you idiots won't make it big in life if you are unable to handle a call for less than 5 minutes. L0L! Anyway, I did raise my voice at the last rude person I talked to and my luck changed immediately after that. I managed to get a registration just before my lunch at 12pm. L0L! When I came back at 1pm, my supervisor told me that I didn't have to handle the inbound calls today as he would do it. I went like . . . because I could have had my lunch break with my colleagues. L0L! Anyway, I continued with my callings and within half an hour, I killed 2 birds with 1 stone. L0L! I managed to register 2 people from the same company. Alright man! I had to do some other stuff today as well like data entry and some paperwork. Towards the end of the day, I managed to get another registration, so it tallies up to 4 registrations. That's my highest so far with this Canon seminar assignment. L0L! I reached home at 6:30pm today and I couldn't think of anything to do after my shower and dinner. I was basically on the computer before 10pm and when the clock struck 10pm, I went to watch Survivor. Today's episode saw the Ulong tribe lost both the reward and immunity challenges. They were also further reduced to a tribe of 2 members with Ibrehem getting voted off. The merge will most probably have to take place next week as the Ulong tribe is left with 2 members after losing 6 straight immunity challenges. L0L! That's the record to beat in all 10 seasons of Survivor. The thing is that the Ulong tribe has to merge if not they will be unable to vote each other off as there are only 2 members remaining, meaning each would vote for the other. Perharps there might be a twist in the game though, wish I'm actually hoping for. L0L! Alright people, that's all from me today. Have a great weekend and Happy April's Fool! L0L! Take care and cya all really soon ya? =]
