Keep the money coming...
I did it! I arrived early for work today to have a clean record once again. L0L! I missed the 8:20am 947 bus, so I quickly took the next bus out and walk into the interchange. L0L! Now, I've finally decided not to wait for the next 947 from today onwards. If I missed the 8:20am one, then I'll just take a bus out and walk in, so I won't reach work late anymore. Woohooo! Work started off pretty fine. I managed to get a registration just by my second call; somehow I managed to convince the executive, so I was pretty relaxed after I managed to get 1. Before I knew it, I got another 1, but after that nothing came at all. L0L! At the end of the day, I only managed to get 2, but I'm satisfied at the moment. My lunch break today was at 12pm because I had to return at 1pm to handle the inbound calls as my colleague had to go for lunch. I finished my meal within half an hour and started reading the "Today" newspaper I got from the interchange this morning before I went to work. There were some really interesting articles in there like the one intake for JC in 2008. This means that, there were not be anymore first 3 months in JC from 2008 and it also means that Polys would have to revise their academic calendar once again. Hopefully it won't affect me. L0L! There was another article complaining about the bus services. The complains were basically about irregular arrival times and some EZ Link card problems. L0L! Maybe with that complain, my bus 947 would start coming every 5 minutes from tomorrow onwards. L0L! Anyway, I went back to work after lunch to handle the inbound calls. Apparently, there were no calls for me at all, so I just sat there and slacked. I read more articles in the newspaper and day dreamed till my colleague returned. L0L! Then, I started to do the calls once again, but I didn't have the luck like I did before lunch. I did get about 6 people who said they would consider though. Before I knocked off from work, I checked my data records for this month to see how much I managed to earn. I was pretty shocked because it tally to be about $1035! Woohoo! Show me the money!!! Money Money Money Money... MONEY!!! Hopefully I didn't tally it wrongly, but I'm sure that I'll get at least $900 that is. Yup, and I'll still be getting my pay for my survey job, which is only about $70. L0L! I have bad news though; the second hand Nokia 8310 that I bought is giving me problems. It keeps turning off when I didn't even touch it, so it's really frustrating. *Sighz* I called up the Nokia customer service hotline and they told me to try taking out the battery for 5 minutes before putting it back again. I did that and so far there isn't a problem yet, but I don't think it can be solved that easily. I asked what I should do if it still gets switched off without me touching it, they told me to bring it to the Nokia care centre. The thing is that I do not have the warranty, so I don't know how much I had to pay. The person didn't know the cost as well, but she gave me a number to call so that I can check it out. Unfortunately, that Nokia office or something closed at 6pm and I got the number only at 7pm, so it was frustrating. It opens tomorrow at 9am, means I can only call them during my lunch break. *Sighz* hopefully the repair won't cost me more than $50. I reached home about 6:45pm? I had enough time to take a shower, have my dinner and then come online. L0L! American Idol was at 8pm on Star World, so I made sure I didn't miss it. Well, my predications are pretty bad aren't they? L0L! The bottom 3 tonight were Nadia, Jessica and Anwar. I was pretty surprised Anwar was in the bottom 3 because I always had the feeling that Ok, I'm stopping here for tonight as I want to try my luck to get more survey forms completed. When I meet up with my surveyor boss on Sunday, hopefully I can hit $100 instead of just $70. L0L! Alright, ciao! =] "I've always followed my father's advice: he told me, first to always keep my word and, second, to never insult anybody unintentionally. Erm...?
Yes! I made for work just on time today. L0L! I missed the 8:20am 947 bus to the interchange, so I decided not to wait for the next one as I know it will make me late again. I took a bus out to the stop just outside the interchange and walked in. That really made up for the lost time and in the end, I managed to pull off a sharp 9am entrance into my office. L0L! Once again, there was a 45 minute briefing till 9:45am, so that's $4.50 for doing nothing again. L0L! The briefing was basically on the problems we were facing because we were not having enough registrations each day. *Sighz*
Apparently, the briefing had no effect on me because I didn't manage to get a single registration for the rest of the day, which is just totally frustrating. Although I had to do some data entry from 12:00pm to 12:30pm, I don't think that half an hour would have made a difference at all. L0L! Oh, I almost had the chance to work overtime today and earn more because my supervisor needed someone to help to do some data entry. In the end, there was no need already, but that's actually a good thing because I didn't want to miss American Idol. L0L! That's basically what happened at work today, nothing much really. Anyway, tomorrow is the last day of the month, so I must not be late as I want to earn as much as I possibly can for this whole month as I know there might not be anymore assignments left for me. L0L! And I want my pay cheque!!! L0L! Well when I got home, I made sure I had a quick shower and dinner before I caught American Idol on Star World. Basically, the theme of the night was songs from the 1990s. This time I'm not too sure who will be in the bottom 3 or who will be eliminated. I do know that there will some of them who will definitely be safe from the bottom 3 based on their performances. They are Bo, Carrie, Constantine, Nikko and Vonzell. As for Anwar, he won't be in the bottom 3 as well because everybody just loves him. L0L! That will leave us with Anthony, Jessica, Nadia and Scott. Last week, Anthony and Nadia were both in the bottom 3. As for this week, I think Nadia won't be in the bottom 3, so my bottom 3 would be Anthony, Jessica and Scott. But who knows, I might be wrong just like last week. L0L! If the bottom 3 I predicted is right, then Anthony would most slightly be gone. Anyway, I'm waiting for The Amazing Race to start on channel 5 at 10pm. It's a 2 hour special, but I'm not sure if it's a recap of the previous episodes. Hopefully it isn't a recap so I can enjoy watching my favourite show for 2 hours. L0L! It also means I'll have another late night and a probability that I might be late for work tomorrow. L0L! Alright people, the Amazing Race is about to start soon. I'll cya guys next time, ciao~! =] "It's never too late to be who you might have been." - George Eliot

Long Day...
*Sighz* I was late today for work and it sucks. I missed the 8:15am bus to my interchange by like 1 or 2 minutes. I didn't want to chase after it because I was just too plain lazy and I thought the next bus will arrive soon. So I waited and waited for nearly 15 minutes for the next bus and I already knew I was going to be late. Oh well, it's just one of those unlucky days I supposed, but my luck did change after my lunch break. L0L!
I started the day off really slow. I handed in my reports and started calling. I had a really low morale today as I didn't get anyone to sign up recently. I didn't have the motivation or determination to work at all, so I really took things slowly today. L0L! Basically, I was out of my element and out of form in put simply. L0L! From 12:30pm to 1:30pm, I basically slacked off as I had to handle inbound calls because my colleague had to go for lunch. All I had to do was sit at her desk and wait for calls to come in, which never did in the end. L0L! Only my supervisor called me 3 times to test me... -.=" Anyway my supervisor did give me some data entry stuff to do, so I was occupied with something to do at least. L0L! I went for my lunch break from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. I sat outside of International Plaza for most of that time just to see vehicles pass by. L0L! I have to find a quiet spot where I can take a snooze, so that I can have more energy. L0L! Anyway, after lunch I continued with my callings. I still didn't manage to get anyone to sign up as most of them were uncontactable as usual. I knew I was pretty screwed at that point of time. Luckily, I managed to get 2 people to sign up after 4pm. That was close, just at the very last hour. L0L! After work, I went for a job interview at Raffles place area. It was just beside Lau Pa Sat, if I'm not wrong the building is called Robinson building or something like that. That interview lasted from 6pm all the way to 8:45pm and it was a pretty waste of time. It was basically a Sales job, something that I would not like to do. There's still a training that I have to go through before I start and I don't intend to work for this company unless they give me the Customer Service job with a better pay than my current job. L0L! *Sighz* and because of that god damn bloody "job" interview, I didn't manage to get my pay from my surveyor boss. Although it's only about $70, but it's still considered a lot by me and now I have to wait till Sunday. Oh well, life still goes on anyway. L0L! I reached home about 9:30pm and had my dinner before heading for the shower. L0L! I'll have to really sleep early today in order to wake up early and make it on time for work. It's towards the end of the month and I want to earn the full $45 for the next 2 days. L0L! Hopefully I really do and I get to continue on again. So take care and good nitez! =] "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." - Thomas A. Edison

Canon
Work today sucks. L0L! It was pretty slack actually, but it just wasn't a good day. I thought that I was late when I entered the office, but luckily I was just on time. L0L! My supervisor told me to wrap up last week's work as I would be starting on a new assignment. I took 45 minutes to wrap up my report because of a lot of complications, let's not get into the details ya? L0L! Anyway, from 9:45am to 10:45am, I spent my time reading the new script for this Canon assignment. We had a briefing from 10:45am all the way to 12pm noon on the new assignment. So basically I worked for only half day, but get paid the full day's amount. L0L!
The bad thing was that I wasn't able to obtain anyone who was interested in attending the seminar. The reason is because most of the decision makers of the company were uncontactable. I only actually managed to speak to 2 people personally out of the 88 companies I called up, so it was pretty screwed up. 1 of them said that he couldn't attend the date, while the other wasn't interested basically. L0L! So, I ended with nobody who was interested in attending the seminar. Well, I'm just worried that my head will be on the chopping board because I have not been performing very well for these couple of days. I just hope tomorrow would be a brand new start for me and that I'll get at least 5 people interested in attending the seminar each day. L0L! It's not impossible and in fact it is very possible. =] I managed to see the t-shirt Justin bought from me all the way from America. L0L! The design looks kind of weird, but it's alright, I like it! L0L! Anyway, he got this bag pack for free as he bought some stuff from Tommy Hilfiger. The design looks odd, but I like it as well, although I'm still hoping to get myself a Crumpler sling bag once I've got the money. L0L! I'm trying to get Mal to get it for me straight from Australia if he's going there because it would be cheaper there if I'm not wrong. They wouldn't charge transport fees or GST or whatever because it's an Australian product. L0L! Anyway, Justin and I took the MRT home together and I reached home around 6:30pm? *Sighz* I could have reached home much earlier, but there was a jam just outside the interchange when I was on bus 947. Yup, so when I got back I took a shower and went online for awhile before I had my dinner. I didn't have any television programs today, so I just wasted my time online before I stand before you now trying to think of what to blog. L0L! I received a phone call about 10pm from this girl I met on Saturday. She was doing a survey actually and the company she works for actually find jobs for people, so I was lucky to have got short listed. There's an interview tomorrow at 6pm, I'm still uncertain if I want to go although the basic pay alone is $900. I'm actually quite contented with what I have right now, so we'll just have to wait and see as usual. I talked to Mal over the phone just now; he said he was officially fired from the company as it was an obvious hint. He called up my supervisor and my supervisor told him that there are no assignments suitable for him. I don't know what on earth is that supposed to mean, but that only freaks me out. This means I might get fired anytime as well, so maybe the job interview tomorrow might actually help me a lot just in case I get fired. I need to get more information and details about the job though. I also found this home based data entry job on the net, I tried to contact the person, but there was no reply, so I'll have to try my luck again tomorrow. Hopefully, I can get this home based data entry job as well so I can work in the evenings and at night as well. *Sighz* I'm still holding on to my dreams of becoming a model, I'll have to wait for Looking Glass Models to contact me again. Hopefully they stick to their word and do if not I'll be really disappointed. Alright then, I'll have to stop here for now. Have a good night and a good rest. =] "Acceptance is such an important commodity; some have called it "the first law of personal growth"." - Peter McWilliams

Ms Congeniality
Oh man, I was supposed to go for the Easter service today at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It started at 11am, but I overslept and woke up at about 10:15am. Apparently, I didn't respond to my alarm, which was supposedly set to 8am. *Sighz* I really let Joa down this time; man I don't know how I'm going to face him again. I'm sorry k? I'll make it up to you one way or another. *Sighz* Anyway, I wanted to meet them after the service, but nobody contacted me, so I decided to make other arrangements instead.
I met Sian Yang at about 4:15pm at Bukit Batok interchange. At first, we wanted to go to Sim Lim Square to get his external DVD rom, but it was pretty far and we were too lazy to go all the way there. So we went to West Mall and took a look in CyberActive to see if we could find a cheap one. Well, he managed to get his external DVD rom as well as a USB hub with 4 ports. It was a pretty alright deal I supposed, but Sim Lim Square might have cheaper ones nonetheless. Anyway, we went to the arcade for a little while before we caught Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous at 6:30pm. L0L! It was an alright movie, there were some really funny moments, but overall, the movie didn't blow me away. L0L! Yeah, so it was just average and not really up to my expectations. L0L! Oh, after the movie, Sian Yang when to withdraw some money to pay for the Creative Zen that I paid for him. Well, I immediately cashed in the $70 he returned me, so that I won't have the urge to use it. L0L! Hmmm, I took a walk back home to save $0.63. L0L! I got home about 9:45pm and took a quick shower, before watching The Apprentice on Channel 5 at 10pm. L0L! Donald Trump brought back the first 4 people he had fired to help out the teams. They were Rob, Jenn, Bradford and Stacie. Rob and Jenn joined Mosaic Corporation, while Bradford and Stacie joined Apex Corporation. In the end Mosaic won the task and you should have seen how happy Rob was. L0L! It was damn cute the way he was so happy. Raj was fired in the end as Donald Trump said that he had made too many mistakes. I felt that he wasn't the one who was supposed to get fired; it just wasn't his time to go yet. Alright, I have to sleep early tonight as I'll still have to work tomorrow. L0L! *Sighz* that’s such a regular thing on my weekdays already. L0L! Hopefully, I won't be late tomorrow. I just can't wait to get my pay cheque for this month, so I'm going to make sure from tomorrow onwards to Thursday that I won't be late. This will make sure that I get the amount of money I deserve. L0L! Ok guys, I'm off to bed. Take care~! =] "Having once decided to achieve a certain task, achieve it at all costs of tedium and distaste. It's A Deal!
I woke up around 12pm today, had my lunch and a quick shower. I had a bad hair day as I was unable to style my hair the way I want it to be. L0L! It didn't turn out that bad in the end though, but still not up to my expectations. L0L! I took a bus to Orchard and met up with the person to settle the deal for the Nokia 8310. Well, I didn't reduce it in the end as it was really in good working condition and nothing was wrong with it. So, I sealed the deal at $85, which is a pretty good deal. Like I said yesterday, if for some reason I choose not to use the phone in the end, I am still able to sell it at above $100. L0L! Lil' Shawn is such a good businessmen. L0L!
When we were walking to Lido, Kumar told me that his company was looking for people to help out at some Mindef Golf Club or something like that. The pay was like $20 per hour, if there are still vacacies available; I'll most definitely quit my telemarketer job and go for that one instead. L0L! I'll be earning like 3 times more of what I'm actually earning right now, so I won't mind switching profession at all. L0L! Hopefully, he will be able to hook me up with that job then I won't have to earn $6 per hour anymore. L0L! After, the deal was done, I met up with my friends and we proceeded to Lido. We had some food before we entered the cinema to catch "Hitch". What can I say about the movie? It was just extremely funny and basically, pure entertainment. L0L! I don't regret watching it at all and to my surprise, the cinema was packed. The movie was opened about 2 weeks ago and it is still so popular up till now. L0L! Luckily, I didn't miss it when I got the chance to watch it. L0L! After the movie, we sent Kumar off at Orchard MRT station before proceeding to Cineleisure for dinner at KFC. We waited pretty long to get a seat as it was dinner time. We had our meal and left about 8 plus. All of us took a MRT home together and we were talking a lot on our way home. We were talking about education, finding our own apartment, renting an apartment, migrating as well as National Service. L0L! It was a very constructive discussion we had going on in the MRT. Well, I think all the 3 of us are heading different directions after our National Service. Mal wants to further his studies at Melbourne, Justin will be going to England and as for me, I have no idea where the hell I want to go. L0L! I would like to further my studies in either New Zealand or Australia because I really want to learn to be more independent, but the thing is that it will cost my parents a bomb. I can't bear to let them pay that much just for me alone, it isn't really right. So if it is possible, I'll go to either 1 of the Singapore Universities here or maybe the Overseas Universities that they are building in Singapore right now. So we'll just have to wait and see. Anyway, I finally received an email reply back from Looking Glass Models. Their talent manager asked me to leave my contact number down, so that he can get back to me. He said he wanted me to meet up in person first, so hopefully, I'll get the opportunity that I have always dreamed of. I think the time is now or never, so I really have to think and process it in my mind if it is really worth it. Let's just hope that I make the correct decision. So we'll just have to wait and see for this as well. L0L! Alright everybody, I'm signing off for now. I'll inform you more about my decision once I get the respond from Looking Glass Models. I really hope I make it, and not just make it, but make it really big. L0L! Wish me all the best ya? Take care everyone! =] "The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions." - Alfred Lord Tennyson

Easter Day
Easter Day seems to be a very good day for sleeping. L0L! I slept at 1am and woke up at 1pm, which means that I slept for 12 hours! L0L! It was great though, I felt totally refreshed and full of energy. I had no plans today, so I decided just to stay home and be a good boy. L0L! Basically just to get some rest and not tire myself out, so that I'll have the energy and strength to work for next week. L0L!
So, the day didn't start out very well. L0L! I washed up before trying to use the computer, but it was a failed attempt. I mean my computer is perfectly alright, but it's just the damn wireless internet connection thing that always makes me pissed. I tried over 10 times to connect to the internet, but it didn't work out at all. I left the computer on and went for lunch, hoping that when I return, I'll be connected to the net. Guess what? When I returned, I was still unable to connect to the net. I restarted the computer a couple of times, but it still didn't work. So I had no choice but to find something else to spend my time doing. L0L! A few days back, I received last month's phone bill. I was shocked when I saw the bill, it was nearly $100, about $98. So I decided to make full use of the second line I had, but never made use of. Furthermore, my second line is the M1 Sun Text plan. I have free incoming calls from 7am to 7pm as well as 1000 free sms, but the thing is that I don't have a good phone for it. I only had a Nokia 3350, Nokia 3210 and a damn old siemens phone. I had no choice but to charge my Nokia 3350 and start adding contacts into my second line sim card. I also had to inform people of my second line, so it took me about an hour in total to get everything done. I had my shower before American Idol aired at 4pm on Star World. Well, the top 11 did a great performance together on stage with the song "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother". Man, I've got to download that song. L0L! The bottom 3 were Anthony, Mikalah and Nadia. First, Anthony was sent back to safety, which left Mikalah and Nadia. I was hoping Nadia wouldn't get voted off because I felt she was one of the better ones in the competition. In the end, Mikalah was the one who got voted off this week. It was pretty wasted though because Mikalah was really good at the very start, but unfortunately she didn't get better. The good thing is that she's still young though, so she has a bright future ahead of her. =] After watching American Idol, I went to Hardware Zone to search for some second hand mobile phones. I managed to find a blue 8310, so I contacted the person selling it and asked for the best price. Initially the price was $115 for the standard package, but I reduced to $100. I realised that I only needed the phone, so I managed to reduce it further to $85 for just the phone only. That means I got $30 off, that's a huge difference for me as I know the mobile phones market well. So if for some reason I decided not to use the phone, I'll still make a profit by selling it. L0L! Well, that's me for you, that's Shawn for you! =P I'm going to meet up with the person tomorrow to seal the deal before meeting my friends up to catch a movie. So, hopefully I can reduce the price further if possible. If I spot a couple of scratches or find that it isn't in good working condition. I'm very particular with mobile phones, if the sound and sensitivity isn't up to my expectations, I'll either lower the price by quite a lot or not buy the phone in the end. Yup, so hopefully this second hand 8310 doesn't have much scratches and is really in good working conditions. I caught Survivor Palau at 10:30pm just now. It was a really exciting episode because Ulong finally won a reward challenge, but later lost yet another Immunity challenge. That meant they had lost 6 consecutive Immunity challenge and had not yet won a single one. L0L! It's by far the worst in Survivor history so far. They are now down to 3 members, James was voted off this episode and I'm not too surprised. L0L! I don't quite like him too, he always complained that others don't perform well, but he didn't do very well in challenges as well. Anyway, next week's episode is basically a recap from episode 1 till now. I think the tribes are going to merge really soon, either 1 or 2 weeks after this recap. Anyway, I was laughing at the title of the recap because it was called the "All Time Tribal Defeat". L0L! Basically, it was describing the Ulong tribe. It's a pity though because there are people in the Ulong tribe that really don't deserved the losing streak they are currently facing as they did their best in all the challenges. For example, Jeff, Angie, Bobby Jon, Ibrehem and Stephenie are all good team players. For Jeff, it was unfortunate as he wounded his ankle and got voted off. As for Angie, I have no idea why she got voted off in last week's episode. Well, with 3 members left in the tribe though, there isn't pretty much that can be accomplished. Wow, I have not been blogging so much for the past few days. L0L! This is so much more compared to the last few days when I was working. L0L! I have to stop here for now though because I have officially run out of things to say. L0L! Alright people, I'll talk with you guys some other time ya? Cya soon~! =] "Be contented when you have got all you want." - Holbrook Jackson

The World Is Never Fair.
Crap! I was late for work today. L0L! Oh well, but considering the fact that I stayed for an extra hour yesterday, coming late by 5 minutes isn't much at all. Yup, so with that extra hour yesterday, I'll probably be able to clear all the times when I'm late. L0L! So, it really doesn't matter at all. Anyway, work was pretty slack today as well because I had many uncontactable people. I completed all the untouched ones and started with the follow ups from the previous 2 days. L0L! In the end, I only managed to get 1 person to register.
Oh, I found out that 1 of my colleague knows the senior boss. They are actually church friends and that senior boss asked my colleague to work here. I think that it is kind of unfair because that colleague will probably have an advantage as in she can do whatever she likes and won't get fired because of the fact that she knows the senior boss. Well, that's just life for poor lil' Shawn eh? Unfair! L0L! Honestly speaking though, this colleague of mine is good at the job, so till I see something unfair going on around, I won't be saying anything. Now I know the reason why my supervisors treat her so well, they have to unless they want to get fired as well. L0L! Oh well... I left my work place at 5:30pm exactly today, no more overtimes for me. L0L! I managed to reach home about 6:30pm. I had my shower and my dinner as usual. I waited for American Idol to start, but apparently, it wasn't on today. *Sighz* that’s just really disappointing, I checked the newspaper and it said it will be on at 8pm on Star world, but that wasn't the case. I went to the website to check it out and realised that it would not be showing today. It will be showing tomorrow for who knows what reason. L0L! Maybe because it's Easter day! Yay! Finally, a day off which also means lesser money to earn. Awww... L0L! Well, this means that I'll be having a long weekend and a long break. A total of 3 days and I haven't really plan out what I'll be doing. I think I'll be booked on Saturday, but I'm still thinking of something to do tomorrow because currently, I do not have any activities going on. I feel like doing something different tomorrow, something I've never done before, but I have not think of what yet. Hmmm… Guess I'll probably be going out with some close friends or resting at home because I'm drained. I'll prefer to go somewhere though where there's a lot of entertainment and fun awaiting me. L0L! Yup, I'm still searching for that place... Hmmm... I'll be ending here for today as I don't really have much to say again. Welcome to the working world lil' Shawnie! When you do the usual stuff everyday without fail and your daily routines are already planned out for you. L0L! Alright then, cya all soon and Happy Easter Day!!! =] "I daresay one profits more by the mistakes one makes off one's own bat than by doing the right thing on somebody's else advice." - W. Overtime
Woohoo! My new assignment is actually pretty slack compared to the SAFRA assignment because most of the people are uncontactable. L0L! I did have a tough time with some of the receptionists though, there were quite a number of them who were extremely rude. Then again, there will always be those nice ones around, so I appreciate it. L0L! I called up about 96 companies today and 62 of them were uncontactable. L0L! Meaning about 65% of them couldn't be contacted. L0L! 2 of them were bad telephone numbers as they were not in use. I managed to invite 2 people for the seminar and got 1 to consider. I had quite a number of them who were either not interested or couldn't make the date. I felt I still did a pretty neat job though.
Anyway, I wasn't late for work today! Woohoo!!! L0L! I managed to arrive on time today as well, so I started the day off on a good note. L0L! I only managed to leave the office today at 6:30pm. L0L! I had to clear some of my paper work because some of the stuff didn't add up right. In the end, my supervisor came and helped me out. It was because I missed out on a few stuff, that's why the stuff didn't tally right. L0L! Silly me, but I'll still get paid for that extra hour I was in the office... Right? L0L! Well, hopefully they will reward me for my hard work. L0L! I did put in effort k? I could have always walked out as the time was already up, but lil' Shawnie here chose not to. L0L! So, it's only fair that they pay me for staying overtime. L0L! Well, when I reached home it was already 7:15pm, so I had a quick shower and dinner. I made it just on time to catch American Idol on Starworld at 8pm. It was a great show this week, many of them really performed well. They were allowed to sing any Billboard #1 Hits, so many of them did excel especially Anwar and Nikko. L0L! I've got no idea who would be out this week, but I think the bottom 3 for this week will be Constantine, Mikalah and Scott. Yup, Mikalah will probably be the 1 to go, but I'm hoping Scott will get eliminated because I really dislike him. L0L! I don't think that he's that good too, so he'll be out pretty soon. He will probably be around for at most 5 more weeks and not more than that. L0L! The Amazing Race is coming up next at 10pm on Channel 5, I'm definitely not going to miss it this week. L0L! There are only 8 teams remaining, so it's just going to get more exciting week after week. I'm not very sure which team will get eliminated tonight because it's a really close race right now. L0L! It basically depends on luck, so it doesn't mean the weakest team will be the one to get eliminated. Then again, it might be a non-elimination leg and nobody would get eliminated. Alright people, I have to stop here if I'm going to catch my show at 10pm. L0L! So I'll cya again ya? Take care and nitez~! =] " At the end of the day, whether or not those people are comfortable with how you're living your life doesn't matter. IBM Seminar
*Yawnz* I managed to wake up at 7am today and myself ready for work by 8:05am. I checked my JAE posting results over the net and I got into Electronics and Computer Engineering at Ngee Ann Poly. Woohoo! Actually, I wasn't happy nor sad, well I have no idea why either. Maybe because that isn't really what I want to do? L0L! I don't know what's up with me, probably just the SianZzZ feeling. Can you believe that I'm actually thinking of appealing even though I got into my first choice? L0L! Anyway, I managed to help Mal check his posting results as well as I had his IC number. I wanted to help some of my close friends check as well, but I didn't have their IC number and none of them picked up when I rang them up. L0L! They were probably still sleeping soundly. L0L!
I arrived just on time for work today, but it was a pretty bad timing. I went into the call centre when my supervisor was giving a "lecture" to all the temporary staffs. L0L! Yup, so it wasn't a very good timing, everyone ended up staring at me. Well, I didn't manage to figure out what the "lecture" was about, but it doesn't matter to me because I'm still surviving. L0L! I still continued on the SAFRA renewal assignment till about 3pm. I managed to get 3 renewals, 2 of which were by credit card. It was pretty bad though, but at least it's still better than nothing. L0L! After that there was a 45 minute briefing on the new assignment that I was supposed to do. It was basically calling on behalf of IBM to invite IT managers to a seminar. L0L! It wasn't very easy as I thought. I had 15 uncontactables, 2 who couldn't make it on that day and 1 who wanted the email to be send again. L0L! Well, I'm still surviving though! =] I had lunch with some of my female colleagues and I managed to find out even more interesting stuff about the company and people in there. L0L! Yup, a whole lot of politics for you, but Shawn isn't going to give a damn about all this politics! Shawn will just do his job, get his pay and disappear after that. L0L! I don't have anything against anyone in the company yet, because I'm good to everyone and vice versa. I hate these kind of politics though, it's so darn unhealthy! L0L! That's why everyone should be like me! L0L! Imagine a world filled with Shawns, wouldn't that be the greatest thing on earth? L0L! =P I left the office at about 6pm today because my supervisor was teaching us the procedure to follow each day for this assignment. Yup, but the good thing was that he said he will compensate us for the half an hour. Woohoo! More pay for basically doing nothing. L0L! Just kidding, Shawn's time is very precious, so every minute is money! L0L! My beginning to sound like a businessman already when that isn't the route I intend to take. I'm hoping to become a pilot or engineering unless I see a good business opportunity awaiting for me. You know what they say, "An engineer can be a businessman, but a businessman can never be an engineer." So even if I dislike engineering and choose to do business in future, I can still do it. Hopefully, I'll get to be a part time model as well. That will definitely be great! =] What I'm hoping to gain through working with this company is not only the money, it's more for the experience. At least, I'll know what the working life in a office is like. Yup, and with this experience I hold, I might be able to find jobs easier in future. The money is good to have, no doubt, but the experience is something that will always be there. Now I understand more of the working life, and the politics in the company. L0L! Ok guys, I'm stopping here as I need to make a couple of calls to some of my friends before I knock off. So do take care and god bless~! =] "To avoid criticism do nothing, say nothing, be nothing." - Elbert Hubbard

New Assignment
Woohoo! Work turned out pretty alright today. Yup, although I was late by 10 minutes, it was still a good day. I managed to get 7 renewals, 3 of which were by credit card. I also managed to get an hour's pay without doing anything. L0L! There was a briefing for a few new assignments, which basically required us to invite people to seminars. I really wanted to start with the new assignment today, but my supervisor wanted me to continue with the SAFRA. The good thing is that I'll be starting on the new assignment tomorrow, well hopefully. L0L! My new assignment is basically calling on behalf of IBM to invite people to this seminar in April. Well, hopefully I do a good job with it so I'll get called back again.
Anyway, the JAE posting results will be out tomorrow and I'm actually quite anxious to know. We are allowed to start accessing it from 8am onwards. I decided to sleep early tonight, then wake up at 7am SHARP tomorrow. I'll get myself ready before checking the course I'm posted to, so I'll be able to leave the house after checking it. Hopefully, I am able to wake up at 7am sharp and not lie on my bed till 7:45am. L0L! By the way, that's always the case, that's why I'm either just on time or late. L0L! This means I have to get to bed tonight by 11pm, so I'll have the energy to get out of my bed tomorrow. L0L! I'm hoping I get into my first choice of course, which is Electronics and Computer Engineering. If I don't, then hopefully I can make it into my second choice, which is Marine and Offshore Technology. Other than these two, I'm not very keen. L0L! I had a hard time coming up with the first choice, as it was a toss between the above two. In the end, I chose Electronics and Computer Engineering because the course teaches a wider range of engineering compared to Marine and Offshore Technology, which is basically just one on its own. Yup, so hopefully I made the right decision by choosing Electronics and Computer Engineering. L0L! Well, my new assignment tomorrow is going to be challenging for me because that will be the first time that I'll be doing it. I've done updating company's details and the SAFRA membership renewal thing before, but I have not invited executives to a seminar before. L0L! Let's just hope these people will be friendly just as I am! L0L! Well, it certainly will give me exposure and experience though. Perhaps, I'll be able to present myself better in front of people with the experience I've gained through this telemarketing job. Yup, I'm satisfied with myself so far as I've done the best I could in each assignment given to me. So I'm not about to screw up in my new assignment tomorrow. Yeah! That's the spirit Shawn! =] Anyway, with this new assignment, there will be lesser pressure as it isn't like the SAFRA one where I had to record the number of contacts I've completed. There isn't much of a quota either I supposed, all I needed to do was get the thing done as soon as I can and do a good job. I'm sure I'll be able to do it if I put effort into it. L0L! Yup, so people pray for me that I do a good job and get called back for another assignment. Also pray that I get into my first choice for the JAE posting tomorrow ya? I'm signing off now, later~ =] "I always wanted to be somebody. Sleepy Day
It was one of those sleepy days of mine today. L0L! I woke up at about 11:50am to answer a phone call from a property agent. He needed telemarketers to make phone calls for him to ask if people have rooms for rent. It seem like a pretty good job because it was home based and there were 2 different packages. The first package had a basic and commission pay, but the thing was that I could only work on Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm to 10pm. Furthermore, the basic was only $5 per hour and the commission was $10 per deal sealed. There was a quota of getting 1 listing per week as well. I know I'm able to meet the quota, but I just think the other package is much better. The second package is just commission only, but I could work on any day and at any time. Furthermore, I get 15% of each sealed deal, which is at least $30 for each deal. I think that it is possible to seal at least 2 deals a week, so if you weight it out, the commission package is more compared to the basic and commission package.
After the conversation with the property agent, I went to wash up. I actually wanted to use the internet, but the damn modem couldn't connect to the net, so I was really darn pissed. I went to lie down on my bed and ended up sleeping till 2pm? L0L! Then I woke up for my lunch. After lunch, I finally managed to get connected to the net. I tried contacting my surveyor boss as I wanted to pass her some of the completed survey forms to get some cash. Unfortunately, she wasn't in Singapore, so I am only able to get my pay from her the week after next. *Sighz* Well, I tried doing a few more surveys, but for some reason I was really tired, so I went back to bed and woke up at 5:45pm. L0L! Yup, so I wasn't able to meet up with the property agent guy. I'll probably meet him on another day to get the stuff from him. Justin also did ask me to go out with him in the afternoon, but I fell asleep, so I didn't manage to go anywhere or do anything at all today. L0L! I'm becoming a pig man, sleep sleep and more sleep! L0L! I woke up for a nice long shower in cold water. The feeling when the water touched my body was just great because it was such a hot and humid day. I had my dinner after my shower before coming back online to chat with some friends and basically just relax and played some computer games. L0L! I watched the Apprentice at 10pm and it isn't over yet, my bet is that Elizabeth will get fired. Anyway, I'm still going to work tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I'll be given a different assignment to do. My supervisor said it depends on SAFRA, if they wanted us to continue getting more renewals, then we still have to. If not, I'll probably get to do a different assignment if there is one. L0L! *Sighz* I'm going to be lonely tomorrow as most of my colleagues won't be around. My supervisor told a lot of them not to come tomorrow, so I'm pretty much alone except for those doing different assignments. I don't really talk to them a lot though, oh well; guess I'll have to start mingling around with the rest tomorrow. L0L! I do feel kind of weird though because everyone who was involved in doing the SAFRA assignment was told not to come back tomorrow except me. I'm worried that my supervisor might have made a mistake or something and tell me last minute not to come back, but I'm definitely hoping not because I need to make money! L0L! Alright then, my entry today is going to be real short because there really wasn't much that was done. L0L! It was one of my sleepy days! Yup, so I can't describe or talk about any other stuff except my dreams? L0L! I had a peaceful sleep, didn't have any dreams or nightmares, so no worries! L0L! That's all from me today, no wait a minute! I just remembered something that I want to talk to you guys about! L0L! Yeah, I've changed my slogan from "You'll come to know me well..." to "Live The Dream!". The reason is because I really like the quote and it is also the slogan for Looking Glass Models. That's the modelling agency I really hope to join, but I'm not sure if I've got what it takes. I have a passion for modelling, mainly because I like wearing designer's clothes and doing photo shoots. I'm not really interested in like cat walks or others. L0L! Well, I don't really have much encouragement or support from my family or peers though, especially my peers. All they do is put me down and make fun of me, that's why I'm going to prove them wrong! Only a small handful of them really supports and encourages me to live the dream that I have. It really does SUCKS to have peers that put you down all the time. They obviously don't know what it feels like when people make fun of your passion and dreams. I don't need them to support me with all their heart and go all out for me, no, that's definitely not what I'm asking for. All I'm asking for at the very least is that they do not make fun of or shatter somebody's passion or dreams. I don't think that's a lot to be asking for. Pay Day!?
Well, I got a phone call at 2am from Justin today. He woke me up from my beauty sleep!!! *Sighz* Anyway, he is back from America and he told me what he got for me. Actually I didn't really get what he was trying to say as I was drifting away to sleep. L0L! That's always the case when someone talks to me during my sleeping time. They will get a whole lot of crap from me. L0L!
Anyway, work started at 12pm until 6:30pm today. Although I only got 3 renewals, I managed to convince a majority to consider about renewing, so it still felt good. I got lesser people who were not interested today; it was no more than 5. Yup, so I did make an effort convincing them to consider at least. I enjoyed myself at work today as there wasn't much nagging or rude people answering the phone. In fact, my supervisor even treated us all to a drink. L0L! Well, the good thing is that I'm still surviving in the company and I'll be heading back on Monday. L0L! I don't know when they will keep me there till, but at the moment it's all good. I will definitely have to perform better to prove to them that they can keep me in. Well, I got back my cheque today. It wasn't edited in the end, but my supervisor said he will add the amount he owes me to this month's cheque. He also checked with me the days that I had worked from 1st March till today to make sure everything was correct. Well, I definitely cannot wait to get this month's pay cheque because it is definitely going to be so much more compared to last month's one. Yup, but the thing is that I won't be getting it till the 10th of next month. So that means I have to wait for a pretty long time before I can get it. *Sighz* Well, I guess all good things to come requires patience right? L0L! So the day was pretty good so far, I went to get dinner after work before heading home. I had my dinner at home before I took a quick shower; I was rushing to watch "High on Life" on television. I wanted to see the performances by the idol finalists; well it was just ok... It wasn't all that good at all, but they convey the message of "No" to drugs quite well. I watched the news and simple life 2 before coming here to blog. News didn't have anything very interesting, but the simple life 2 was really lame. L0L! It's just so amusing to see Paris and Nicole's reactions to insects. They were screaming their lungs off when they saw a small insect. L0L! Anyway, they're just really spoilt, that's why they behave in such a way. Well, there's The Amazing Race repeat telecast at 1am! Yay! I finally found a time when I can watch it. I don't have to go to work tomorrow as well because my we basically completed everything today. That means I can have a late night and wake up late tomorrow! Yay!!! L0L! Anyway, I'm still deciding what I should do tomorrow, so if anyone has any plans do inform me ya? =] Oh, poor Sian Yang is having a high fever. He told me that the doctor said if it doesn't get better by tomorrow, he'll have to go to the hospital. *Sighz* I'm really worried about him, hopefully he'll be alright. Please take good care of yourself ya? Alright, that pretty much sums up my day. Hope to see you all real soon. Take care and god bless~! =] "Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable." - Sidney J. Harris

Standby
Well, apparently I was "Late" for work today. I just hate that damn system man, it's like tuned 5 minutes in advance on purpose. Even the clock at the entrance was 9am, my watch was 9am, my mobile phone was 9am, and the time on the computer was 9am. So I think that it is just bloody unfair because I was technically not late if they had followed the exact Singapore timing. *Sighz*
Well, since I started off the day badly, it continued staying that way. I only had 2 renewals although both were by credit cards. I had people who scolded me over the phone for calling too many times. I had extremely rude people who shouted at me over the phone. And the worst thing that could had happened was we returned late from lunch, don't even ask. To end the day, my supervisor said that he will call me if he needs me tomorrow. I haven't heard from him yet though. Mal said that my supervisor had already called him and told him not to go tomorrow, so I'm still on standby and waiting for him to give me a call. The only good thing today at work was that I'll have another assignment from Monday onwards. So the company isn't going to kick me out just yet. Well, hopefully I can stay as long as possible and earn as much as I can before school reopens. The thing is that they are hiring more and more people day by day. These few days, I have seen so many people coming for interviews and a handful of them being hired and starting their job on the very day. Well, I do hope that they can see I'm doing my job as hard as I possibly can, but these people are all so damn demanding anyway. Hopefully, with this new assignment, I can prove to them that I'm a valuable asset to their bloody team. L0L! Anyway, I did go to the converse sales today after work and I managed to get a t-shirt. It was about $23 after discount? Well, it's still alright and it's not bad too. L0L! I only decided to get a piece as I didn't really like the rest. I had my dinner at Mac before heading home for a nice cold shower. Yup, now I'm sitting here blogging and waiting for my damn supervisor to call as well as for Survivor Palau to start. I'm really curious about the twist in the game today, so I'm just waiting and waiting for it to begin as soon as possible. L0L! I'm still not sure if I'm working tomorrow, but if I'm not, then I'll have to catch up with some friends. Same goes for on Sunday, if I'm not working, then I'll need to meet up with some people and spend some time with. *Sighz* I'm so tired and sleepy right now. I'm just hoping that my supervisor calls real soon if not I'll probably fall asleep. Hopefully, I'll have the energy to wait for Survivor to start and watch it till the end. For right now, I don't even know what I'm going to do. I'll probably on the television and lie on my bed just to waste time. L0L! Alright, I'm starting to talk rubbish again, so you guys should probably know what it means. It means that I have to go off now before I continue talking more rubbish. L0L! Ok then, I'll cya some other time people~! =] "Be not ashamed of thy virtues; honor's a good brooch to wear in a man's hat at all times." - Ben Jonson

Paranoid.
Well, I was on time for work today, so no worries. L0L! Well, my supervisor told me that the SAFRA assignment should be over by this Sunday. Yeah! Alright man, I'm already getting so bored of it. L0L! The bad thing is that the company is cutting their resources, meaning that I might not have any job after this Sunday! My supervisor did tell me that he has another assignment for me though, but I'm still pretty uncertain. He can always change his mind anytime he wants to, so I'm still paranoid. L0L! Hopefully, they keep me till school starts or else I'll have to find another job, which is equally boring... L0L! So either way, I'm still going to be bored. L0L!
Anyway, it was an alright day I suppose. I managed to get 7 renewals, 5 of which were made by credit card. It was just one of those lucky days you can say. Hopefully, I can keep up with this performance, so that they will keep it for a longer period, then I won't have to hunt for other jobs. If I managed to see a good, high paying job though, then I might switch jobs. L0L! Honestly speaking, my current job isn't that bad, it's quite slack actually. It's just that at times the supervisors tick me off because they are always complaining that we are talking and not performing well, etc. etc. That's my personal opinion, but I don't know what my friends think. From what I know, Mal isn't too happy either, so we are pretty much on the same boat. At work today, I suddenly realised that it is Thursday today and not Wednesday. I think I have overworked and that I have lost track with the time and my soundings. With that said, it means I missed yesterday's episode of The Amazing Race, that's why I'm feeling so depressed. L0L! Luckily, I found out from the AXN website that there will be repeat telecasts. Although most of the repeat telecasts I won't be able to catch as well as I'm working. I found out that there are 2 repeat telecasts on Tuesday that I am able to catch. The timings are 10pm and 2am, so I'm hoping I won't miss those too. I'll probably catch the one at 10pm as I have to rest early because the next day is a working day. My mum told me that there was a Converse sale going on right now till Sunday. They had a 20% off all storewide items. I was too lazy to take a look after work today and I had not enough money to buy anything as well. So, I'll most probably go take a look tomorrow and hopefully see something that I like. My mum was the one who told me to take a look and get something I like anyway. L0L! She's giving me some cash as well! Woohoo! Anyway, I still need to top up my fare card tomorrow. Damn it man, the transport charges for adults are so expensive. The government really is full of shit; charging such high prices for transport. They did say they wanted to lower it, but no action has been taken yet. It is basically bullshit to me as I know those idiots will never lower it. All they want to do is earn our money and use it themselves to enjoy. Isn't that lame? Nope, you don't have to answer because everybody knows the answer already. L0L! I have to start sleeping earlier from now on, so I will be able to wake up by 7:15am everyday and reach my work place a little earlier. I mean, I usually reach there just on time or a few minutes before. I want to reach there like 5 minutes earlier each time, so that the system won't log me in as late if I'm like 1 or 2 seconds late. Furthermore, their clock is like set a couple of minutes faster, so that it will make us late. This is the kind of dumb trick I despite a lot because it is just so lame and unfair. Oh well, that's just life for you isn't it? Life is never fair whether you like it or whether you don't, so you just have to live it to the fullest I suppose. L0L! Yup, that's my theory. That's me for you, that's shawn for you! L0L! =] Alright people, that's all from me today! Continue tagging and I'll continue blogging! Take care and cya soon~! =] "Never seem more learned than the people you are with. Wear your learning like a pocket watch and keep it hidden. Late...
Well, for the first time in so many days, I was late for work. *Sighz* I came like half an hour late. Although I left the house really late, it was the bus and MRT that really screwed up. I waited for the damn bus for nearly 10 minutes and the stupid MRT to Jurong East for 7 minutes. After that I still had to wait when I got to Jurong East, can you believe that? In fact the travelling time was only 20 minutes. So technically, I wasted more time waiting than on travelling. When I got into the office and log on to the system, it only got worst. I was like 1 or 2 minutes before 9:30am, so technically I should have been logged in at 9:30am, but the system put me in at 9:45am. I complained to my supervisor immediately and he agreed to change it. Damn that system man, I do not know how in the world the system could have logged me in even later.
Although I was late, I still managed to meet the 20 calls per hour criteria. In fact, I even got 5 renewals for the day, 3 of which were made by credit card. So, I actually managed to save myself because my supervisor was pleased with my performance today although I was late. L0L! Yup, so I'm definitely not going to get fired so soon, but I'll make sure that I'll never be late again! So the day was pretty alright apart from me coming late for work, everything else went smooth. Garyson and his friend were there from morning till lunch time as they were needed to do some mailing stuff. I had lunch with them and waited for Mal to come get his bag and camera. He came at like 1:27pm, so he made me late and the stupid system placed me as late again. *Sighz* I guessed I've learnt my lesson already and that is to be on time and not wait for those who are late. I'm not going to get myself in trouble because of someone else that's for sure. Apparently, they have not issued me my edited cheque yet, so I'll still have to wait. I guess I'll have to ask them tomorrow if I don't receive it by the end of the day. There wasn't much nagging at me today. L0L! I managed to finish my follow up list and I was given a considering list to do. I'm wondering what I'll be doing tomorrow though. I am actually hoping that I get to do a different assignment so there won't be so much pressure or nagging on me. My supervisor claimed that the SAFRA one that we are doing is the easiest, but I doubt it. The rest seemed to be much easier because we are not asking people to renew anything, we are only updating the company's details. I have done that before too, that was my first assignment and it wasn't as complicated as this SAFRA thing. Oh well, different people have their own opinions right? =] Actually, I don't have much to blog today. I mean nowadays my weekdays are like standard as the activities are all the same. First, I wake up. Then, I go to work. After that, I come home. Then, I do my blogging. Finally, I go to bed. This process repeats five times a week, so you can imagine how bored I must be feeling right? L0L! Well, but to be honest, if I'm not working at the moment, I won't be doing anything either. I'll probably slack off at home and waste my time. So actually, working keeps me occupied and at the same time, earns me some revenue as well! L0L! Yup, so you can say that I'm pretty satisfied. Hmmm... Alright then, I'm keeping this entry short and simple as I don't really have much to say though. L0L! So, that's about it! Fired?
Well, I was nearly late for work again today, but luckily I managed to arrive just on time. L0L! I had a hard time getting out of my bed. I only got off my bed when it was reaching 7:45am. L0L! It was amazing how I rush and made it just on time. I washed up real quick, had breakfast really fast, took a short shower and style my hair really fast. I didn't have much time to style, so I stuck with my mohawk once again. My supervisor did mention that my hair was distracting though. L0L! Oh well, that's life for you and that's Shawn for you! L0L! =]
At about 4:30am, I received a message from Garyson. He told me that our supervisor called him up and said that they had enough resources, so Garyson and his friend didn't have to go. Our supervisor also said that he'll call them again if they needed them on Wednesday. Garyson thought by saying that, our supervisor meant that both of them were fired as that was how both of Mal's friends got fired. It was a pretty slow day actually. It seems that when I'm sitted outside the call centre, I performed much better compared to when I'm sitted in the call centre. I made very little calls, but I did manage to get 5 renewals though. Maybe it's because it isn't so cold outside and there are less people compared to inside. Furthermore, the 2 supervisors are both in the call centre, so there's more pressure in there compared to outside I guess. L0L! I prefer sitting outside the call centre as well, I'm not sure why too. L0L! I'm definitely sitting outside tomorrow though. Well, I have not got my pay cheque yet, they probably haven't edited the mistake yet. *Sighz* I'm hoping that I'll get it by tomorrow and cash it into my bank account as soon as I can. I don't really know how cheques work though, so can somebody please explain it to me? L0L! If anyone of you do know, please leave down a message in my tagboard because that will really help. This is going to be the first cheque that I have ever earned. Woohoo! Anyway, my supervisors requested me and Mal to come back on Sunday to help out as they were in need of help urgently and this assignment is coming to an end soon. We agreed to do so just for this Sunday only, so I won't be able to meet up with Anwar again. My deepest and most sincere apologies k? I'm not doing it on purpose, but I promise I'll make up for it alright? =] I inquired about Garyson and his friend with my supervisor after work as well. They were not fired, the supervisor just felt they were not confident enough to do the callings. Well, I have no idea why, but I guess his expectations are high. But the supervisor did say that they have to come tomorrow to help out with some other stuff if they can. I told Garyson about it and he was quite disappointed (yes, I can tell...), but he agreed to come tomorrow morning. *Sighz* I also asked if there were still vacancies available for 2 of my friends. Apparently, there still is, but my supervisor told me to make sure that my friends were the kind that sound comfortable talking over the phone. Hmmm... Anyway, my supervisor did ask me when will I be able to work till as there were still other assignments after this SAFRA thing. I told him about 20th of May, so they will most probably extend my contract till as long as they can. Well, that's a good thing for me as I won't be out of my job. At the same time, it can also mean a bad thing as I will have lesser time to spend with my close ones. *Sighz* Oh man, no worries guys! I'm still available from Monday to Saturday after 5:30pm, we can always go for dinner and chill ya? I'm also free on Sunday as it's my off day unless they request me to go back. So, it isn't that bad ya? I'm still available! So do make yourselves available as well! L0L! =] After work, I came home for a quick shower and my dinner before catching "Charmed" on starworld! I just love that show man, I'm attracted to it. L0L! Alright people, that pretty much sums up my day for you, hope you enjoyed reading it! L0L! Till tomorrow then, take care and good nitez~! =] "To will is to select a goal, determine a course of action that will bring one to that goal, and then hold to that action till the goal is reached. Pay Cheque!
Hey everyone! Well, I had a hard time waking up for work today. L0L! I slept at 2am and finally woke up at 7:30am. I thought I was going to be late, but I managed to reach on time once again. Yay! L0L! =]
My hair looks great! Yeah! L0L! The colour, the style and everything just looks great. I'm loving it! L0L! I managed to do a really nice and stylish mohawk at last. L0L! I'll try to come up with a different hairdo tomorrow. Well, I have decided to go back to that salon, Salon4Hair, everything 2 to 3 months to get my haircut there. Although it's $25, but the stylist is really professional and further more, it's worth the money I pay. Yup, and if you guys ever get your hair done there, look for Martin. He was the one that did my hair and he's really good. Anyway, work was really slack today as I didn't need to talk much because most of the numbers were uncontactable. There were only about 20 out of 200 numbers that I was able to get through. I managed to convince about 10 of them to consider renewing their SAFRA membership, but I only managed to get 2 credit card renewals. Oh well, at least it's better than nothing at all right? L0L! I could have got much more if there were more contactable numbers. Well, anyway they gave me my cheque today for February's work, but I decline it. L0L! Don't get me wrong though. I declined it because it wasn't the correct amount. It should have been more by $20. So I didn't manage to get my cheque today, but hopefully they'll give it to me by tomorrow with the correct amount, which should be $147.50 and no less. I'll definitely accept it if it's more though. L0L! I can't wait to deposit it into by bank account as soon as I can. *Sighz* I've been spending quite alot this month and I'm not going to waste anymore money if not I'll be broke sooner than I think. I have to start saving and saving and earning and earning. L0L! Anyway, you guys going to the chalet on the 25th to 28th of April will be happy to know that I've finally booked the it. It will be at Costa Sands Downtown East Resort Chalet! So don't miss it for the world! L0L! Yup, I've already paid for the thing, so please don't pull out at the last minute ya? Then, I'll have to pay my dad back all the money. By the way, it's only $147 for 4D3N, so it's really worth the money. There are at least 6 of us that confirmed will be going, I'm not too sure about the rest yet. Maybe we'll try to make it about 10, so each of us will just have to pay about $15 ya? Well, it sounds good to me! L0L! =] Seriously, I don't have much to blog today because there wasn't anything interesting or amusing that happened. It's basically just the usual working day for me and same goes for tomorrow and the day after and the day after that and on and on and on... L0L! Oh well, but for money, I'm willing to do it. Anyway, I haven't been chatting to some of you guys for quite some time already. I'm hoping I can tonight because Monday night is my free night as I don't have any television programmes to watch. L0L! Alright then, time to do some catching up. I'll catch you guys later~! =] "There is no security on this earth, there is only opportunity." - General Douglas MacArthur

Police Station...
Wow, I reached home like 12am today. I had a shower and I finally managed to come online after numerous tries. I hate this wireless internet connection crap. It's always full of problems. Oh well, but I don't pretty much have a choice and it's my dad who decided on it too anyway. Well, today(or should I say yesterday?) was my off day, so I went to do my hair. It's kind of late right now, so let me just sum up the day as quick as I can.
I met up with my friends at Jurong East about 2pm, then we took bus 105 down to orchard. It was about a 45 minutes ride? When we got there, we went to Shaw tower for lunch at Long John Silver. The "back by popular demand", Hot and Spicy chicken, didn't taste spicy at all. L0L! Oh well, but it's still pretty much alright. After that we visited the Billabong store for a short glance. Then, we proceeded to visit Hong Yue at Far East Plaza, her work place. Next, we went to Paragon. I reached Salon4Hair about 4:05pm and there were only a few people in there, but I still had an appointmnet at 4pm, so I had nothing to worry about. I was in the salon for a total of 2 hours. I got my hair dyed copper red first, then got a haircut. It was supposed to cost me a total of $128, but I had the UOB TX Account Debit Card, so there was a 30% off chemical services and the haircut would only be $25. So in total, it cost me only $87. I use the word "only" because there's a difference of $41, which for me is quite a huge difference. After I got my hair done, we went to the IT Fair Show at Suntec Convention Centre. It was really packed and crowded till it was so hard to move around. In the end, Ce Rong bought his FFX2 for $44 (usual price = $90) and Sian Yang bought his Winning Eleven 8 at $55 (usual price = $60-80?). Sian Yang wanted to get a Creative Zen Micro as well because it was really cheap. It cost only $379 when the usual price was $490? Yup, so I used my debit card to help him pay for it first. There was this jackpot thing that entitled each person 1 try per $100, so Sian Yang had 3 trys. He won a T-shirt on his first try, but didn't get anything for the next 2 trys. Well, at least it's still better than nothing. Anyway, with each $200 spent, you are entitled to a Creative free membership card, which will be given on the spot. So Sian Yang allowed me to have the card under my name! So sweet right??? L0L! =] After the IT Fair Show, we went for dinner at the Kopitiam in Suntec City. We had a quick dinner as it was already about eight or nine plus? Then, we took off to the MRT station. While we were walking away from the Kopitiam, it was actually quite a distance already. Ce Rong realised that his wallet and mobile phone were missing. We went back to check it out, but there was nothing to be found. We searched around and gave up after awhile, we decided to go to the police post to file a lost report. We went to the 24 hours police post besides Jurong Junior College (JJC). It was 5 minutes before the midnight charge for taxi when we were done. Luckily, we managed to get a cab before the midnight charge. We went to Sian Yang place, then to mine and finally to Ce Rong. When I got home it was already 12am and my mum wasn't really happy. I had pretty much a hell lot of explaining to do, but everything is fine. I really hope Ce Rong will get back all of his stuff. *Sighz* I guess it wasn't really such a good day ya? Anyway, I'll have to stop here for now. It's getting late, approaching 2am to be exact and I still have to go to work and wake up at 7am. Hopefully, I'll have the energy and strength to do so, if not I'm pretty much screwed. Alright then, I shall officially stop here. Have a great day and take care. The Boardroom.
Wow, it has been 12 hours since I woke up. L0L! Isn't that awesome? Nah, it's not when you realise that you have to wake up to go to work. L0L! Yup, work starts at 12pm for every Saturday, but it was optional to work on Saturdays. I chose to because of the money once again. Oh well, I think I'm too absorbed in making money at this moment. *Sighz* But what can I do? Money makes the world go round right? L0L! Yes yes, I know, I'm all about money... Money money money money... Money!!! =]
Work was fine, no complaints from me today. L0L! We had a meeting in this really nice boardroom. The chairs were nice and damn comfortable; too bad we were there only for awhile. We were given this piece of paper to record the number of calls and renewals we made for every hour. WAH SIANZ!!! L0L! If we didn't meet the target of at least 20 calls per hour for 3 consecutive days, we'll get fired. Well, that's not much of a big problem for me, but getting the renewals is a problem for me. Apparently, none of the staffs had got more than 10 renewals a day before. Furthermore, the head said we had to have 2 to 3 renewals per hour, which means on a regular 7 hour working day, we have to get 14 to 21 renewals. Well guess what dude? That's not very possible! I know, I've always been saying Adidas: Impossible Is Nothing. But as for this sh!t we're supposed to do, it's not possible to achieve 14 to 21 renewals in 7 hours. Yes, it is possible to achieve, but not in 7 hours. Alright fine, I just complained again! L0L! Anyway, I bought Subway home for dinner. L0L! I ate it till my throat burst man. I added all those green chillies, which tasted really sour and spicy. The spice was nice, but the sourness was horrible. L0L! I obviously made a mistake in choosing the green chillies. Well, but its nice eating Subway once in awhile and furthermore, it's healthy with all that vegetables. While I was taking a shower, I spotted this hair of mine that really fascinated me. Anyway, the bottom half of it was black and the top half was white! Interesting isn't it? =P L0L! Anyway, I found out the reason for me having all these annoying white hair and it isn't because I'm stressed out or anything. It's actually genetic because my dad had white hair when he was my age, so I have the gene as well. SIANZ, so unfair man, my sister don't even have it! Papa, why must you have white hair when you so young??? See... Now your son also have at such a young age. Hopefully, your grandson won't have white hair so soon if not he may think that he's stressed out, then because of that, become more stress! L0L! Oh dear, I'm starting to talk rubbish again. Well, the good thing is I'm going to cut and dye my hair tomorrow! So no more white hair for the next 2-3 months time? L0L! But white hair is good, shows that the person thinks alot. L0L! Nah, that doesn't really bother me, maybe once in awhile I might look into the mirror and ask myself "Why in the world do I have white hair at such a young age?". Other than that, I'm totally fine. L0L! I feel that my character, personality and attitude are all much more important than just a bunch of white hair. I should learn to be a better person constantly, so that I'll make it big in life next time and not be somebody that everyone hates. Hopefully, my dreams of becoming a model will come true one day and I'll make it big. Oh well, but at the moment, I'm going to work really hard in my poly life then get into a good University after my National Service. After that, I'll want to be a top engineer with a really high pay. I'm thinking of working either in the aerospace industry or marine and offshore industry. If it's possible, I want to be a pilot for commercial planes, like Singapore Airlines etc. etc. I love travelling and I want to travel from place to place every now and then, but being a pilot means I'll be away from home most of the time and the dangers are real. Furthermore, the life of your passengers on board is in your hands. That may be a little too much of a responsibility for me, but I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see right? I remember telling this to the lady who interviewed me at the modelling agency... "No one knows what the future holds, but there are certain risks worth taking and not others." L0L! =] Alright people, I'm going to stop here for today. Please continue tagging and give me feedback on what you think of my blog. If you guys have any problems, feel free to share or if there is anything else under the sun that you'll like to talk about or say, feel free to do so because you’re most welcome. Politics.
Well, today when I was on the MRT to work, my friends were on the same MRT and in the same cabin all the way along. I didn't notice that they were in there, but they did notice me only when we were 1 stop away from the stop where we were supposed to alight, which was Tanjong Pagar. L0L! Well, I guess we are all very observant! L0L! Anyway, we reached the work place just on time again and I wasn't late again! Yeah!!! L0L!
Work was pretty alright and I managed to complete the "Renewing" list from yesterday. They gave me another "Considering" list and by the end of the day I had nearly completed the first page. My head said I was kind of slow, oh well, accept it as it is much better than nothing at all dumb! L0L! In life, you can't be too demanding because you'll end up with NOTHING at all. That's right! Wise words from Shawn The GreaT! L0L! Just kidding, but it's true that you can't be too demanding or you'll end up with nothing at all. One of my colleague who started work the same day as I did told me that we'll get paid most slightly on next Wednesday. We were supposed to get paid by the 10th of each month, but apparently, they were unable to make it on time this month. L0L! Apparently they're demand so much from us to always keep up with the pace, but they themselves cannot keep up with the pace! L0L! These are your typical everyday FOOLS! I had a good chat with one of my senior colleague today as well. She told me alot about the company and the people in it, like the 2 heads and a few other people. She also told me that if I had the chance, I should work in a regional company rather than a local company. She explained it to me and said that a local company has alot of politics going on within the office itself and that something I agreed with after working in this company. I'll definitely take her advice and hopefully next time when I'm an engineer, I'll get into a regional company and have a high pay. I don't want to be in a crappy local company that is full of politics. HELL NO! But if I don't have a choice, I'll still have to live with it. That's life for you! *Sighz* Well, my head was hoping I could make it for both days on the weekends, but I agreed during the first time that I'll only work on Saturdays for the weekends. I need a break too you know? I'm not a robot! Furthermore, the pay on Sunday is the same and if there isn't a rise in salary on Sundays, I don't see a point in working. Singapore's policy is that if you work on Sundays and Public Holidays, your salary is suppose to be doubled. Well, guess this isn't the case in this company. *Argh!* But I'm happy as long as I get paid for doing my job. That's my main objective! L0L! And if I don't get paid or get paid less for whatever stupid reasons this "clever" company can think of, I'll probably go to the Ministry of Manpower and state my case? I'm NEVER going to do free labour, except if it's for family or relative's business. Other than that, I'll not hold back if I don't get paid for doing my job, you can bet your life on it! On the way home from work, Garyson Sia did some really really silly and annoying things to me on the MRT! He pulled my ears, poke me, slap my forehead, etc. etc. Too many dumb things to write down. I have no idea what his point is for doing that. Oh well, these are the friends I have I guess. L0L! Nah, just kidding. Well, he's a good buddy nonetheless, so I'm fine with whatever he does to me. =] Well, Sunday is approaching soon. That means I'll get to rest for a day before starting work for another 6 days. L0L! And I still am going out on that day to get my hair done and spend time with my friends. So technically, I do not have an off day! Woohoo! L0L! Nah, I'm more than willing to spend time with all my close buddies to chill and relax and enjoy and and and be happy! =] Alright ladies and gentlemen, I better stop here before I go on talking rubbish. Hehehe... So take care, god bless, I'll cya again~! =] "The question should be, is it worth trying to do, not can it be done." - Allard Lowenstein

Oh my god... Can you believe this, everything that I had typed for the last freaking hour has been ERASED! Damn this stupid thing! What the hell, "Page Cannot Be Displayed". Now, I have to type everything all over again thanks to this shit thing. *Sighz*
Hmmm... Today was my usual routine. I went to work and I was early! L0L! I arrived 2 minutes before time. L0L! At least better than late right? L0L! Anyway, work today was fine. I actually managed to get 5 SAFRA membership renewals for the first 4 hours. After that, I was posted to do something else, so I couldn't get anyone else. I was supposed to call up those people who had agreed to renew their SAFRA membership and checked with them if they had received the payment advice from SAFRA yet. Then I had to check with them if they had renewed their membership yet. If they had not, I had to try to make them renew their membership over the phone by using their credit cards. I managed to get 2 of them who agreed to pay by credit cards. So it was an easier assignment as I didn't have to convince them to renew their SAFRA membership as these people were already interested. L0L! During lunch time, I asked my friends if they had read the contract and noticed anything about not getting paid for anything. They said yes and once I heard that, I went like . . . and my SIANZ feeling came back. I don't want to be doing free labour for any companies. They told me there was something in the contract that wrote "The Company reserves the rights not to pay you for your services if you don't perform well". I was shocked when I heard that and after lunch we went to double confirm. I read the contract and there it was, I obviously didn't see it when I first signed my contract. The thing is my "perform well" might not necessary be the same as well "perform well", so how am I suppose to know if I did a good job or not? I'm just hoping that I'll get paid for everything I've done so far. But, towards the end of the day, the lady head asked me what name she should write in the cheque to issue to me. Although I haven't got it yet, but I'm hoping I'll be getting it really soon, so that I know that I'm not doing any free labour. L0L! Anyway, my contract is ending around 23-25 of this month and I'm not certain if they will be extending it. Even if they do, I'm uncertain if I will want to continue working for them. If I managed to find a better job with a higher pay then I might not continue to work for them. Then again, they might not extend my contract if I don't perform to their expectations or if there isn't any other assignments left for me to do. Hopefully, they will give me the option of extending my contract with them, then I'll get to decide on what I should do. I'm hoping that they will raise my pay as well. L0L! When I got home from work, I took a shower and had my dinner before watching the American Idol results show. I was in total shock when Nikko was voted off from the group as I didn't expect it at all. I felt that he was one of the best male vocalist in the competition and that he deserves to be in the top 12. I don't think Constantine or Scott deserves to be in the top 12 as they weren't that good at all. As for Anthony, I don't think that he's any better compared to Nikko. I was actually rooting for either Anwar or Nikko to win the competition this year. Unfortunately, Nikko has already been kicked out so early in this stage of the competition. So I'm going with Anwar all the way and I really hope that he becomes the next American Idol because he really deserves it. To be honest, I am quite disappointed that Nikko got voted out because I felt that he was outstanding through out the contest so far. *Sighz* Oh well... I'll just have to stick with Anwar Robinson all the way then... Well, I'll most probably be doing my hair this Sunday as Sian Yang volunteered to accompany me. Isn't he sweet??? L0L! Yeah! That's my bro! =] Anyway, I am extremely tired and my energy level is nearly zero as I had to type this whole thing all over again. *Sighz* Well, I'm knocking off immediately after I'm done with this, so hopefully this doesn't screw up again or else I'm pretty much screwed as well. Alright then, I shall stop here for today. Continue tagging and I'll continue blogging ya? Cya soon~! =] "From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life." - Arthur Ashe

Good Day!
Wow, it was a good day today. I managed to get 9 people to renew their SAFRA membership. L0L! Unfortunately, I still didn't meet the requirements to get the incentives. We have to get at least 15 people to renew their membership before we can get the incentives. Getting 15 people in one day is really not possible, even the seniors have a have a tough time achieving 10 people in a day. Oh well, hopefully, they will tally up all the people that I got to renew their membership and give me the incentives because I think I've got about 25 up to this point. The thing is on a good day I get like about 10 and on a bad day I only get less than 5. I've never exceeded 10 renewals in a day before. Oh well, what to do, life like that. L0L!
I didn't manage to get out of bed today, so I was kind of late for work by 10 minutes? At the ground level of my work place, there were these 2 ladies who were taking their own sweet time walking in front of me. When I wanted to cut in front of them by going to the right side, they went right and when I wanted to cut in front of them by going to the left, they moved to the left. It really seemed on purpose and these are the kind of BITCHES in Singapore that I cannot and will not tolerate. In the end, I stepped on 1 of the lady's shoe from the back on purpose and when she turned around, I quickly cut in front of them without apologising. Yes, for your information, there are people who are actually in a hurry! Luckily, my head wasn't around when I got up to the office and the computer system was down, so I was able to fake and said that I arrived on time. The system is damn lame too, if you're late by a minute or two, they will round it up to the next 15mins, which means if I arrived between 9:01am to 9:15am, it will be recorded as 9:15am and my pay will be deducted accordingly. That's the plain old dirty tricks companies play. L0L! Apart from that, everything went smoothly today. Oh, 2 of my friends got fired, but I don't know the reason why. I'm not sure if they were paid as well. The head also told Mal that she wanted to keep an eye on him because she didn't trust him or something??? What's up with that? Although, she didn't say anything about me, I felt it was kind of unfair, no wait, not "kind of", I felt it was damn unfair towards Mal because he didn't do anything wrong. Maybe she's just being racist or something? Oh well... Some people have their "Reasons" I suppose. So, maybe it wasn't such a good day after all... Hmmm... I'm hoping to start another easier assignment soon, not because I don't like this SAFRA one, but because I think the incentives are impossible to get. They probably made it impossible to achieve because they're not interested in giving anyone of us the incentives. L0L! Aiya, these idiots think I stupid or what? Just because I got such a handsome and charming look, doesn't mean I'm unaware of this kind of stuff leh. L0L! Fools! =] My hair's getting longer kind of long right now, I think I might be going for a hair cut this Sunday and at the same time, dye my hair. L0L! I'll probably be going to Salon4Hair at Paragon, but it's kind of far and I don't wish to go all the way there by myself just to get my hair done. Somebody follow me leh!!! L0L! Nah, just kidding, but I won't mind if you will like to! =] Hmmm... Let's see, I'm probably going to cut my hair into the mohawk style that Beckham once had. Then I'll dye my whole head into a different shade of copper. Maybe either copper red or copper blonde? I'm not sure what colour I want to dye, that's why I have to see the colours that they have. L0L! I don't want a dark colour that cannot really be seen, I would rather have a light colour, but not a bright colour. Complicated right? L0L! That's me for you, that's Shawn for you! =] So, if you guys have any colours to recommend, please do tell me, I'll be glad to hear! Hahaha... Oh, I might have to buy the products they recommend to me as well. *Sighz* This makeover for my hair is going to cost me a bomb, hopefully it won't be that bad. Well... Let's see, what else is there to say? I'm not too sure myself. L0L! Alright, I should stop crapping here, since I've got nothing left to say. Anyway JOA u idiot!!! Tag my blog properly la! Sian Yang you too!!! Tag something nice and constructive a little bit can??? -.=" And those reading as well, don't just read, tag my blog at the left side of the screen too! Hehehe, don't have to be shy ya? L0L! Alright then people, take care and god bless~! I shall return again~! Ciao~! American Idol.
Did you guys miss me? L0L! Nah, just kidding. I'm back at blogging once again! How's everyone doing today? =]
I was finally on time for work today. L0L! I arrived right on the spot, so I'll try to keep the habit of coming for work early or at least on time. L0L! I shall TRY my hardest to wake up 15 minutes earlier tomorrow. Time seems to pass much faster today, it was lunch before I knew it and I managed to wrap up the day with a final renewal for the SAFRA membership. I had a total of only 3 renewals today if I'm not wrong, which is actually really bad, considering the fact that our boss wants us to hit the target of 3 renewals per hour. L0L! Well, at least I got 3 in 7 hours! Better than nothing right? L0L! Still a good day nonetheless. I like the working environment alot, the people there are friendly, the bosses are quite strict but not unreasonable, so there's nothing there that I dislike at the moment. I'm really lucky to have got this job! =] Well, I got home, took a shower, had my dinner and watched American Idol. Well well well, I'm rooting for either Anwar or Nikko to win the competition this year. Hopefully, it will be Anwar because I think he deserves it more. I like Travis as well, he has really nice and sleek dance moves, unfortunately his voice doesn't match his moves. That's really a waste, if not he will probably do really well. I supported David as well, but he's already out. It's really a waste because he's awesome, but he just couldn't shine during his performances. For the ladies, I'm supporting Carrie, Nadia and Vonzell. I don't think any of them can win the competition this year though. I did support Aloha as well, but I have no idea why she was voted off. It was a waste, but well, I don't think she would have won either. Anwar's performance today was brilliant! He sang "What A Wonderful World", it was just spectacular and wonderful till it's indescribable. Anyway, I don't have much to say today. L0L! Well, anyway the chalet thing is on from the 25th to the 28 of April at Costa Sands Downtown East Resort ok guys? =] I have not done the booking yet, but I'll probably do it by this week, so don't back out from it ok? Haha... =] Anyway, I'm so tight down with my job right now that I have not really got the time to do any other stuff. I don't have the time to spend with friends, unless it is sunday. I basically don't have the time to do anything unless it is on a Sunday. I still have stuff on my waiting list that needs to be done like buying my shoes, dying my hair, going on holidays, etc. etc. The list simply goes on and on. Well, but I guess for money, you have to make some sacrifice right? My apologies to all my friends who I'm unable to spend time with. Well, you can still call me out on weekdays and Saturdays ya? But you have to make it in the evening or else I won't be able to make it k? I'm still free on Sundays, so don't worry, just give me a call or message me to make an appointment with me; it will be even better if you can tag in my blog then I'll take note of it. Don't worry, my internet system isn't as bad as the government's Joint Admission Exercise Internet System(JIS). It doesn't take hours to load and it doesn't cock up due to heavy congestion, so no worries~! L0L! Just make sure that you don't book me at the last minute ya because people might already booked me earlier. L0L! =P Do tell me the activities that you plan to do when we meet up too ya? =] Love each and everyone of you guys, hopefully I can get to share my Sundays with you ya? Alright then, I shall stop here for today. An hour of blogging is kind of tiring you know? L0L! Take care and god bless~! =] "There's only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self." - Aldous Huxley

Work~ Work~
*Sighz* Another day at work... L0L! Nah, it isn't that bad... it's dreadful!!! I'm just kidding. I love my job, it's the best one I had so far. Actually I could have been early for work today if it wasn't my laziness. I was up bright and early at 7am, work only starts at 9am. I washed up and had breakfast by 7:30am. I was so lazy that I went back to my bed to have a short nap till 8:10am. I took a quick shower, dressed myself smartly, styled my hair and took off. I was out of my house by 8:25am, but the bus to the MRT interchange played me out again! It took like 10 minutes to come, so when I got to my MRT station at Bukit Batok, it was already 8:40am. My work place is at International Plaza, which is close to Tanjong Pagar MRT station. As you all know, it takes about 30 minutes from Bukit Batok MRT station to Tanjong Pagar MRT station. I ended up reaching my work place at about 9:05am. Argh!!! Late AGAIN!!! L0L! Luckily, my boss wasn't there... I think... Oh well, I'm not going to be late tomorrow or at least I will try not to. L0L!
Anyway, on the train, there was this lady standing in front of me reading the "Today" newspaper. I was kind of bored, so I just took a look and see what interesting news they had. Apparently, there was this article about the episode of "The Apprentice" yesterday. It was talking about John, who was the most recent one who got fired. The article was sympathising with John because of the task that was given. He was the unfortunate guy to be the project manager of this task. The task was to design ladies wear for a fashion show. L0L! Yup, in an interview with John, he said it was unfair to the guys team as they were guys... duh... I'm sure you kind what I mean. Well, I thought it was unfair as well, but I guess that's life; you win some and you lose some. I like his hairstyle though; nice interesting spikes concentrated in the centre. L0L! =] Work was alright today, but I didn't manage to get many people to renew their SAFRA membership. I only got like 5 or less. There was a meeting after we had completed all the "Untouched" people in the list. Oh, I forgot to mention that the male boss was back. Wah Sianz~! L0L! Nah, he wasn't that bad, but I felt that he was being too demanding of something that we couldn't control. Oh well, the meeting was about what we had to do next since we completed every single person on the list. We had to do the follow ups next... Wah Sianz~! L0L! Nah, it's not that bad, I'm just kind of bored with this assignment already. I am actually looking forward to the next assignment and hoping that it will be much easier, so that I can meet the quota and get the incentives besides my basic pay. =] I was pretty tired when I got home actually, oh well... It must be the working life that is getting to me. LOL! Hopefully, I'll have the strength to stay fresh, sharp and healthy! Hahah, I'm just wasting my time online right now, waiting for people to chat with. L0L! Hmmm... I might have an early night today, so do come and talk to me before I go offline k? Especially you, Sian Yang! L0L! =P Alright people, time for me to take my leave. Cya~! =] "Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood...Make big plans, aim high in hope and work." - Daniel H.Burnham

John Little Sales!
Well, I'm back at blogging again. L0L! Today was my off day from work, so I decided to go to the "Career Fair" that was on at Suntec Convection Centre with a few friends. It was really interesting as there were private schools offering diplomas, degrees, etc. It was a waste that most of them were business schools and none had any engineering courses, so I wasn't able to apply for any of them. The Universities had booths there as well, NUS, NTU and SMU. I received this brochure from NUS about electrical and computer engineering, didn't really look through it though. L0L! But at least I know that the Universities in Singapore offers the engineering courses that I would like to get into in future. There were other overseas Universities as well and some of them did offer engineering courses. Hopefully, I'll do well in my Poly education and get into a Singapore University. If I don't do well enough, I might have to go abroad for my University education, but that will cause my parents a bomb, that's why I am trying to avoid that situation. Oh well, I'm serious about my studies this time and I am not going to screw up again. Hmmm, there were other stuff besides education booths. The police academy, Power 98 radio academy, MOE, Prudential and many others were there. We didn't really focus on them though as were still students and we were rushing for a movie. L0L!
On our way down, I also saw that Chan Brothers and SANS tour agency were having a tour package promotion. There were quite a lot of people there, so I get the feeling that the offers this time round are really good. Hopefully, I will be able to get out of town before Poly life starts. Well, I don't mind having a short trip to KL at all. Perharps I will be able to do some shopping or just have some fun right? =] After that "Career Fair" thing, we decided to catch the movie "Hitch" at Plaza Singapura. We were kind of lazy to walk back to take an MRT and we couldn't find the bus stop to Plaza Singapura. So we decided to take a cab there and share the price. It was quite worth it actually. Each of us just had to pay $2. So when we got to Plaza Singapura, we went to get tickets for "Hitch" at the 4:20pm timeslot. It was about 3:15pm when we tried getting the tickets. Amazingly enough, there were only single seats left. We decided not to watch the movie in the end. *Sighz* We proceeded to the food court to have our erm... "Lunch" and just sat down and chit-chat for awhile. After that, we went to John Little as there's a sales going on and I needed to do some shopping. L0L! Yup, I managed to get 2 shirts, a pair of pants and 2 pairs of boxers for an incredible price of $64!! Wooohooo! Not bad right? I go for cheap and practical stuff most of the time. L0L! We went to Levi's after that to check some jeans. They were having like a 60% off for ladies jeans, but the men don't get anything. How "Sexist" of them! L0L! None of us bought anything from there in the end. Cannot afford ah! =P We proceeded to Watsons after that as my friend wanted to get his natural shampoo. Yes, natural shampoo, which means no chemicals added. All natural herbs and stuff. Pretty cool eh? =] Well, after that my friends wanted to go home. So I didn't pretty much had a choice too but to head home. I was actually thinking of meeting my cell group, but it was kind of late already at that time and I had the feeling that most of them had already left. Oh well, now I'm home with pretty much nothing to do. At the moment I'm blogging and at the same time, thinking of something to keep me occupied later. There's the Apprentice at 10pm, but other than that, there isn't much to do. *Sighz* I still have to wake up early for work tomorrow. Work tomorrow starts half an hour earlier, which means it starts at 9am, which also means I will have half an hour less to sleep. L0L! Oh well, but I guess it's worth the money right? As long as I don't fall ill again! L0L! Alright then, I shall stop here for tonight. Do try tagging my blog often yeah? I'll reply to all of you whenever I can as well. And JOA!!! You have not tagged my blog!!! Grrr! Haha, alright alright. Cya all soon~! =] "Trouble is part of your life, and if you don't share it, you don't give the person who loves you a chance to love you enough." - Dinah Shore |
