A Laughable Day.
L0L! Man, today was just an amazingly weird funny day. It all started at my house bus stop when I was on my way to school in the morning. L0L!
I was waiting for the 947 to come and this 188 arrived full house. People were standing all the way to the front, at the steps of the bus. It normally isn't that crowded around that time, which was 9am plus. There was this guy standing on the steps and when the door closed, his bag got stuck in between the two doors and the driver started driving off. L0L! I know it's quite mean la, but that's only the appetizer mind you. L0L! So I reached the interchange and waited for 61 to come. As usual it was slow and definitely not steady this time. L0L! I was the second person in the queue and near the waiting area, there's this pillar. Somehow or rather, the driver drove the side mirror into that pillar and the mirror came crashing down. For a minute, I saw my life flash before my eyes! At that moment in time, I was listening to the song "Heaven" and it just so happen when the mirror hit the floor, the singer was singing "and we're in heaven". L0L! The driver had to drive the bus back to the bus bay and apparently he came back to collect his side mirror before proceeding somewhere else. L0L! Then, I had to wait for the next 61 to come, which in turn cause me to be late for class. On the 61 that I boarded, I didn't think anything else funny could happen and I was so wrong. After 5 minutes of travelling on the bus, it started "raining" on me as the air con was leaking! At that moment in time, guess what song was playing this time? "Drowning" by Backstreet Boys. L0L! Damn! What the heck? So after the person on my left alighted, I switched place to avoid the "rain". Then, this Caucasian guy came over and sat at the seat where it was "raining". Apparently, for the rest of the trip to school, I didn't see a single drip of water from the air con anymore! Man, is that racist or what? L0L! What a way to kick start the day eh ? The morning lesson didn't really have anything happening I suppose. After the break, during the MPI practical lesson, Wei An was talking about this haunted place near the toilet and stuff. He said that last time he went there, there wasn't anyone, but when he came back, he saw someone sitting there with the legs crossed. So, we decided to visit this "haunted place" in broad daylight to investigate! L0L! I'm having problems uploading the video, so I'll try to upload it again once I can. You can view it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6p9PQ-guRuE though. Anyway, after the MPI practical lesson, we decided to skip DCNT tutorial and head for home. We went to the bus stop and waited for any bus that we could take. Apparently, the 61 came first, which was very rare! Guess who the driver was ? Spot On! The guy who crashed the mirror! L0L! Man, what a day. I just had to blog about this today. L0L! It was just such a laughable day and I won't be surprised if anything else happens later. So, I shall stop here for NOW just in case something else funny happens later or tonight! Take care and continue laughing! =] "Look well into thyself; there is a source of strength which will always spring up if thou wilt always look there." - Marcus Aurelius Antoninus

Tests, Friends & Such.
Hey ! Sup ? I haven't update in about a week already? Yea, I've been a little busy I guess, but I'm still going to keep my blog alive ok ! Anyway, how's life ? L0L! Hope you're all doing great! Actually, I wasn't that busy this week until towards the end. Let me break it down for you. ^^
On wednesday, I had to present my Flash Applications miniproject. It wasn't much actually, but the nice thing to hear is that I had fun doing that miniproject on Rock! I saw some of my classmates projects and they were many interesting and better ones than mine too! I think the best was alvin's one man, Cool as Hell. ^^ Friday was "Test" day. I had only 2 modules on that day and both had lab test. L0L! First was the DCNT lab test. I encountered a problem about something like someone using the same I.P. address as me and I didn't know how to fix it. I tried to restart my computer, but the problem was still there. I managed to fix it in the end, without actually knowing how I did it. Well, at least I managed to answer all the questions. Then, there was this 3 hour break before the AOOP lab test. We managed to get the program from Tim because his lab test was before the break. L0L! Apparently, the lab test was very much similar with only a few minor changes. Tim told me he managed to get 100%, but apparently his "Read" button was incorrect and I didn't have enough time to fix it. Anyway, it was the last Friday of the month, which meant that I had to meet up with my Secondary school friends! I decided to go back home first because it was only 3.30pm and I was meeting them at 6pm. I reached home around 4.20pm and watched Prison Break season 2 episode 14. Damn! Shit happens for the brothers. We'll see what happens next and what they plan to do in the next episode. Anyway, I left my house around 5.15pm and I met Wei An at the interchange. He was waiting for 77 to go to Suntec City's Fish & Co. to work and he was late as usual. L0L! So I told him to take the MRT because I was also late as usual. L0L! We reached City Hall station around 6.10pm? Then, I saw my friends and Wei An also saw them and he seemed petrified. L0L! He went off to work after that and Justin, Kumar, Malbinder and I went to wait for Hongyue. All of them still look the same! L0L! Anyway, we decided to eat at Citilink's New York New York because none of us had eaten there before. The queue was LONG and we were contemplating to eat at somewhere else. However, we didn't manage to think of anywhere else. L0L! The queue moved fast though, that was the good thing. The place was nice and cosy, but a little cramp. The food however, wasn't worth the money la! Aiyo... I feel so cheated ah until now. Therefore in conclusion, we don't intend to go back there anytime soon. Yay! After that, they were deciding where to go again. They decided to go to Esplanade after that and when we were there, they were deciding where to go AGAIN! L0L! After awhile, Kumar left first around 9pm. Then, they were deciding where to go AGAIN !!! No comments ah... In the end, we went to Harry's Bar at Esplanade. Then, Hongyue saw her friend there. So they ordered some drinks and wait her Serene to come in the meantime. If you all still don't know by now, I don't take alcohol at all. Yes, you heard it right! Not at ALL, which means not even a sip, a gulp or whatever you want to call it. I don't think I need to have a reason for why I don't drink either. I wasn't really talking much during that outing and Hongyue thought there was something wrong. Honestly, nothing was wrong. It's not that I don't want to say anything, but I really have nothing to say. Perhaps, it is because I haven't seen them in a long time? Or maybe I just don't really click that well in the group? The things they do and say aren't really the things I do or say. Oh well... At Harry's Bar, Hongyue asked me "Eh! What happened to Joachim ah?". I didn't know what to reply her because I was quite surprised she still remembers him. L0L! So I asked back "What happened to him?". L0L! I can't think of anything else to say mah. Then, she said "Like so long never see him already" and I said "Ohhhhh...". L0L! Yeah, I seriously didn't know what to say. I also didn't know that she know that I know him. Understand? L0L! Yeah, so I was surprised la when she asked about fei ge! =X Wei An finished work at 11pm, so I told him to call me after work, so can go back Bukit Batok together mah then not so sianZ. Then, he called and tell me he going Bukit Timah to meet his friends to play LAN. ~!@#$%^&* L0L! So, I stayed till about 11.25pm as my last bus to Bukit Batok was at 11.30pm. I decided to leave first as I had stuff on the next day as well. The bus was so freaking cold la, but shiok ah because the driver drove fast and it took less than an hour from Esplanade all the way to Bukit Batok interchange. I think I managed to reach home around 12.45am? I didn't off my laptop, so I came back and checked some stuff and Coincidently I saw Fei Ge's message on MSN. Damn! Anyway, I went to pack my stuff and take a shower before I came back to the computer. By that time, he was away already, so I didn't know what he want. I checked my mobile phone and there was a missed call at 12:52am Coincidently by Hongyue. I think they are planning something! >.< I called her back, but she didn't answer her phone, so I still don't know what she wanted. L0L! I went to bed after that because I was tired and sleepy already and I was going out again the next day. Luckily, my poly friends were only meeting at 3.30pm the next day. I couldn't get out of bed at all. Somehow, I managed to pull myself out of my wonderful bed! I reach Jurong East MRT station around 3.40pm and nobody was there yet! >.< So I played Poker on my phone for about 20 minutes before Jeremiah came. Gavin and Weixuan came 10 minutes after Jeremiah came. Then, we set off to Buona Vista to supposedly meet Alex. Apparently, the bugger was still SLEEPING! OMG! Worse than me can? L0L! He told us he will meet us for dinner instead. HAH! Right... So we headed to Orchard to meet Dennis. Then, we went to Far East, but none of us managed to buy anything. We decided to take a bus to Bugis after that and the bus took a LONG time to come. We reached Bugis around 7pm plus? We headed to Bugis street to walk around just for fun and we discovered they installed a Big Ass Fan in the middle. L0L! It was really called Big Ass Fan. After that, we went to Parco Bugis and we were trying to find somewhere to eat, but everywhere was crowded. We finally managed to get seats at Yoshinoya and had a fast meal. Then, we started shopping, but I didn't manage to get anything. L0L! Mission Failed! =[ We went to Bugis Point after that and I swear that's like the SMALLEST shopping centre I've ever been to man. There were 6 levels of shopping and we managed to complete touring the entire building in 5 minutes. L0L! The only good thing going there was that we discovered this ma la steamboat restaurant downstairs. Yeah! We went back to the MRT station after that and took the MRT home la obviously. L0L! I forgot what time I reached home already. I think it was 10pm plus? Oh, I forgot to mention that Alex the bugger didn't meet us in the end also! :@ Once I reached home, I went to my parents room quickly to get the results between Singapore and Malaysia. Singapore won! Yay! Yeah, whatever... One step closer to qualify for the world cup liao. L0L! I took a shower after that and then came online. I saw fei ge online then asked him what he wanted yesterday. He said "No la, say hi only". ALE! Wad Oni! L0L! Then we were talking and Coincidently talked about Hongyue. L0L! Then, he shared a secret and so did I and I regret it very much now because I realise that he's a BIG BULLY!!! Evilness. Meany. Darkness. Cold as Ice. L0L! Oh well... still my fei ge after that! L0L! =] After that I updated my Warcraft 3 to the latest version and my Zion didn't work after that. I was so fed up and I didn't know what to do. I uninstalled Zion as well as mIRC but it still didn't want to work! After about 2 hours of battling with the damn Zion, I managed to fix the problem just by changing the damn settings. Then, I played 2 matches without completing AGAIN! OMG! It was like the 5th consecutive day that I have yet to complete a whole match without leavers or laggers or whatever. I ended that streak at last, but we still had a leaver and we lost. At least, 1 of the thrones was destroyed after 5 days without a winner or loser. L0L! Anyway, I have to go now. I need to start studying for my PDPR lab test on Tuesday. Sighz. Another 2 test this coming week. My PDPR lab test is on Tuesday and my AOOP Theory test 2 is on Friday. After that is my 1 week of study break before my Exams on the 13th and 15th. Alright then guys, I'll cya all sometime soon again k ? Take care and ... take even more care? L0L! Kindda Late To Be Blogging.
I shouldn't be blogging because firstly, it is just past midnight and I should be going to bed. Secondly, I don't really have anything to talk about these past few days. Anyway, I'm having this throat irritation thing along with a mild cough. Nope, don't intend to see a doctor because it isn't necessary.
This week is going to be a rather busy week, especially towards the end of the week! I only have 2 modules every Friday, which is a good thing. However, this week I'm having a lab test for both the 2 modules. I know my AOOP lab test is pretty much gone already. I'm still going to try and rescue myself before the real thing. Damn. The weightage is 20% though and I hope I can manage a pass at least. As for the DCNT lab test, I'll just have to study what the lecturer told us to and hopefully all goes well. I've been thinking for quite sometime about my future. I realise that perhaps engineering isn't really what I want to do. I have quite a number of friends in the same course as me who said they aren't going to do engineering in University. So... if I don't intend to do engineering in the University, then what do I do? I've got no idea. Damnit. I guess I'll just have to see what options I'm left with. Anyway, I'm on the lookout for a job after Chinese New Year. So if anyone has a connection of some sort, do give me a buzz. I tried asking Harvey Norman, but they only wanted long term staff for at least half a year. I'm thinking of trying Eng Wah Cinemas at West Mall next, but that isn't really what I'm looking for so we'll see. Oh, I've caught up with the current episode of Prison Break already! I've managed to complete the entire season 1 and season 2 up till episode 13. L0L! I think it only gets better from here on out. Oh well, we will just have to wait and see then. Today episode 14 is coming out along with Heroes latest episode after a short break. I can't wait to catch both of them! Anyway, I'm going to stop here for now and get some sleep. Catch yall later~! =] "Actions have consequences...first rule of life. And the second rule is this - you are the only one responsible for your own actions." - Holly Lisle

Prison Break!
Yeah! Back! L0L! Anyway, I've just started to watch Prison Break yesterday. I know I'm kind of lagging behind, but I didn't manage to get the episodes from Jeremiah sooner, so yeah. It's a great series and you should catch it too! It is just as exciting as Heroes and I think these are the 2 series that I'll be following closely from now on rather than Lost.
Basically, Prison Break like the name states is about these few guys trying to break out of prison. It all started when this guy named Lincoln was set-up and put in jail. His execution was approaching in a month's time and in order to save him, Michael, his brother went to rob a bank to get into the same prison. The story goes on how they plan their escape as well as the many obstacles they faced along the way. In my opinion, the only phrase that can describe such a compelling series is "Expect The Unexpected". So catch it! You can get the whole of season 1 from me and I have up to episode 13 of season 2 as well. Yeah, I'm promoting the series here on my blog. Free Advertising! L0L! Anyway, today's lesson started at 8am. I was a little late and didn't feel like doing anything when I reached class. It was PDPR practical and Jeremiah as well as myself have completed everything except the enchancement part. I was weary to do it because if somehow it affected my previous parts and if I'm unable to fix it, my marks will be deducted. Oh well, so far I think only 2 of my classmates got it done. So, Jeremiah, Iman and I went to have some breakfast at Canteen 2. The Roti Prata was nice man, especially the curry! L0L! We went back to class after that and I still didn't have the mood to do anything. I decided to watch 3 episodes of Prison Break on Jeremiah's laptop before going for the lunch break. I didn't eat lunch too because I watched another episode of Prison Break. L0L! I'm now at Season 1 Episode 14 only! Long way to go man! L0L! If I have some time later, I'll watch at least 2 more episodes before I go to bed. L0L! Lucky for me, I end at 12pm tomorrow, so I can get back home and watch more Prison Break episodes! L0L! Yeah, furthermore, my lesson on Thursday only starts at 1pm! Let's see, if I start watching from 2pm till 12am, I would be able to complete the entire season 1 without much trouble. L0L! Anyway, I met Fei ge today ! The first time this year and I think is a new record! After 16 days managed to meet up with him is pretty good actually. L0L! It's rare that I get to see him. Oh he said he will try to meet me at least once a month too. We made the date on every last Thursday of the month. Wah exciting! From now onwards, the last Thursday and Friday of each month would be occupied. Thursday will be for meeting Fei ge and Friday would be for meeting my ex-secondary school friends. Yes, I'm smiling! =] So I met Fei ge at West Mall Macs at around 3.45pm? Lessons actually ended at 4pm, but I decided to leave during the 10 minute break the lecturer gave us. L0L! We talked and talked and talked... then, we went to Clementi. L0L! On the way there, we talked more and more and talked more... Hmm... I think it's the first time that we talked that much when we are out. However, sometimes I'm like talking to the wall because he had his headphones on in Macs while playing CS. L0L! Then, sometimes we will stare at me blankly for like . . . . . . . . . . before saying something. L0L! We left Clementi around 6pm plus. He was heading to meet his friends at City Hall and I was going home to watch more of Prison Break. L0L! Although we only met for less than 3 hours, it was still worth it la and I'm happy we managed to meet after lots of "planning" on his part. The nice part is at least he came all the way down to Bukit Batok to meet me for ONCE. L0L! Thanks big bro! =] Oh, I saw something that I shouldn't have today! I didn't know how to react to it actually, so I didn't say anything about it and I'm not going say anything here either. I shall bear this burden alone just like Frodo and the damn ring. L0L! No worries, I promise I won't say anything if you know what I'm talking about. ;) OK! I need to go watch my Prison Break before going to sleep. If I don't catch at least 2 episodes, I won't be able to sleep in peace tonight. L0L! Yeah, that's how good it is, so what the hell are you waiting for??? L0L! Take care and I'll catch yall later! =] "Either you decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool or you go out in the ocean." - Christopher Reeve

Summing Up The Week.
Hey guys! I would just like to share with everyone some changes I've made in my blog. Firstly, I added in a song called "Last Resort" by Papa Roach. It is a song that I really like listening to recently. I hope it doesn't make my blog lag though. Also, I have taken away the "Wants" section in my profile and transfer it to the "Others" section. Yup, so my wishlist is now in the "Others" section and I've updated the list as well, so you're should know what to do especially since my birthday is coming! L0L! =]
Anyway, this entire week has been tiring! I had to be in school at 8am for the past four consecutive days. Monday was the only day when I started at 10am. I was unable to get out of my bed for the past few days too. I guess it's time for me to start sleeping earlier. Furthermore, the week has been really boring! I only enjoyed Wednesday because of the mini project we were suppose to do for Flash Applications. I know when everybody hears the word "project", we'll go like "WAH SIAN". However, I really had fun doing this project so far. The reason probably is because I'm doing on a topic that I really like and it's called "Rock". Oh well, I'm still working it on now and I'll try to get it done as soon as I can, then I can let you guys take a look. =] Oh, I have started thinking of what I want to do during my holidays. Firstly, I need to start exercising and train for National Service. Secondly, I want to play Squash more often as well. Also, I want to learn how to play the guitar basics. I would really like to play the Electric guitar, but I can't afford it. Therefore, I'll start learning the Acoustic guitar first. Lastly, I would really love to find a job and work for the 2 months break that I have. Although, I might be going overseas for awhile, I really hope I still can get a job. Hmm... There were two friends of mine whose birthday was this week. First was Khairul on Wednesday and I met up with him at Jurong East. I bought him this Capricorn mug from Davin Link in West Mall. We went to play 5 rounds of pool before going for dinner and a long chit-chat as well as a little guitar lesson. L0L! I managed to get Nigel's present at Jurong East. His birthday was on the very next day, which was Thursday. The shop name was called "Hobby .....", I forgot the back part. I got for him this mini pouch, which can be used to put your mobile phone or coins or other stuff. Oh well, I hope both of you like the gifts! =] I guess I'm going to stop here for today. I'll update again soon yeah? Take care and cya soon~! =] "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give." - Sir Winston Churchill

Pampered or Spoilt ?
Hey! I'm back for an update! Let's see... Life's been tough! But I'm tougher! =] Let's backtrack a little to last Friday...
My laptop officially broke down last Friday and I couldn't on it. Although, I've faced some problems with my notebook recently, it was doing fine in school on that day. However, when I came home I couldn't switch it on. I thought it would be fine after awhile like the previous times, but I was still unable to get it on. In the end, I called up a guy to get it fixed. He came over to take a look at my laptop at around 9.50pm. He said he would take it back and check what the problem was. I received a call from him around 11.30pm and he told me that my hard disk was corrupted. He told me he will bring it over to Toshiba the next day to see what can be done. On Saturday, he called me up and told me Toshiba would change my hard disk for free, but my data would all be lost. He said he could help to recover the data at $480 and I didn't want to even though I had all my projects and school work in there and no backup. Then, my dad called him up after that and told him to recover the data. I was fed up because of both the cost as well as the fact that my dad didn't give a damn about my decision. That spoilt the rest of my day. On Sunday, I managed to get back my laptop in the morning around 11am. Everything was back to normal before it was taken away, but I could only think of the cost. *Sighz* I went out in the afternoon to take my mind off things. I met Alex, Gavin, Kelvin and Weixuan at Wisma's Food Republic. I was a "little" late as usual. L0L! I've got to start working on my punctuality again and not to be late! Anyway, we went to eat Tepanyakki there and it was expensive! That was the first time I ate Tepanyakki actually and it wasn't all that fantastic. We were deciding on where to go after that, but none of us could come up with anything. In the end, we went to Great World City's TCC for some coffee. Kelvin works there, so we were able to get a better "rate"? L0L! We slacked there for maybe 3 hours or so, then ate dinner there too! Expensive! I think my resolution on "Finance" is screwed. L0L! We left for home about 9.30pm. I went to withdraw $500 to pay my dad for the laptop services. We didn't ask for anything from me, but I didn't want to be a burden or anything, so I did it with my own free will ok! I reached home and when to my parents room to pass my dad the money. He was shocked la, asking me where I got the money from and stuff. I have my own savings ok! Don't look down on me. =] Then, he told me not to be silly and he didn't want the money... Yeah, Whatever. I just left the room after that. In a way it's frustrating because I didn't ask for my data to be recovered in the first place, but that's just the way it is. Yes, now for the title. I feel that there's a misconception between being "pampered" and being "spoilt". I think that they are two very different things. Parents will always pamper their kids no matter what. It may not seem obvious, but it's there no matter how much or how little. To say that your parents don't pamper you at all, to me, feels like an understatement. On the other hand, being spoilt is a totally different thing. You may be pampered, but that doesn't mean that you're spoilt. Being spoilt is like getting everything you WANT without much trouble. Jeremiah said there isn't any degree of spoilt-ness, but I disagree. L0L! I think there are certain people that are more spoilt than others. The best is not to be spoilt at all! Now, to clear the air a little. Yes, I'm pampered by my parents, but I didn't ask for it. To me, it's natural and not big of a deal. Am I spoilt? I would be lying if I say no. However, my degree of spoilt-ness isn't EXTREME or "I get whatever I want". And I'm not a brat! I'm learning to be more independent already and I can say now that "I was once a little spoilt, but not anymore". I don't use my parent's money to buy anything without thinking that's for sure. I'll even ask for their opinion before I purchase something that is expensive like my iPod Nano last year. I have also started working during the long breaks for the past few years. I started a savings plan with Prudential last year as well to manage my finances. So, don't call me spoilt or brat or whatever if you don't know how I am. I won't stop you from saying though because it is your opinion, but one thing is for sure that I would disagree 100%. Anyway, 2 close friends of mine are turning 19 this week! I'm going generous this year and giving presents to my close friends for their birthdays! =] I don't usually do it every year, but this year is the last year I can give people birthday gifts before I hit 20! L0L! Yeah! So, I'll be trying my best to remember birth dates this year. Hopefully, that will help to improve my memory too! L0L! I still need to hunt for Nigel's gift tomorrow. L0L! I'm not afraid to say it here because I know he doesn't read blogs. If he proves me wrong, then TOO BAD! L0L! Alright people, I'm going to find something else to do now. Take care and god bless~! =] "Why do we have to wait for special moments to say nice things or tell people we care about them?" - Randy K. Milholland

Good Day Mate!
I decided to blog today because the day was great! It just seem to get better and I'm glad that my MSN messenger is up and running! I came home not too long ago and it was working fine when I didn't even fix it. Yesterday night I had so many problems to deal with. My MSN messenger wasn't able to sign in along with some other related internet programs. However, my internet explorer was working fine apart from websites like Google and MSN. I wasn't able to on my laptop back when I shut it down because it was too hot. Luckily, I managed to get it back to work after awhile.
Today, I'm able to sign in to all my programs as well as access Google and MSN without facing any problems at all! I also received 2 of my common test results today and they were both way better then I had anticipated (humongous word there used by me! L0L!). Anyway, my first lesson was DCNT lecture and I didn't think I would received my results because the lecturer wasn't my tutorial lecturer. However, he was the DCNT module leader, so he had all of our results. I didn't really want to know so soon because I wanted to save it for last because I feel that I perform the best at this paper out of the rest. Oh well, I ended up knowing it and I wasn't disappointed with the results. After the break, I had an hour of MPI lecture before the MPI tutorial. That was the paper that I was really worried about. It was the only paper so far that I felt that I would fail. Thankfully, I didn't fail because my name wasn't listed in MEL last week. I knew I wasn't going to score well for the paper if I don't fail it and I was seriously expecting my results to be in the 50s range. In an astonishing turn of events, I did better then I could think of. I was pleasantly surprised or should I say shocked. I guess the amount of effort I put in really paid off. Although it might not be an A grade or whatsoever, I'm still proud and relief at the same time that I managed to obtain that mark! Heaven must be watching over me. =] Yesterday when my MSN was down and stuff, I didn't feel bored or anything. In fact, it felt good in a way because I could do anything I wanted and not get tight down by the internet. I watched my FIRST television programme of the year as well! The EPL Highlights on Channel 5. L0L! Although I was fed up last night that my MSN wasn't working, when I thought about it this morning, it wasn't such a torture at all. Hmmm... Perhaps I'm not that hopeless afterall without MSN yeah? Haha... Alright, I'm going to stop here and go for my dinner now. Take care everyone and cya all soon! =] "Before you do anything, think. 2007 Resolutions!
1. Better person - Yes, I know it may sound the same like the 2006 resolution, but hey even if I have become a better person, I still want to be an even better person for 2007. I hope that every year I'll be an even better person compared with the previous year! =]
