Lifts.
Woah... I haven't blogged for a week already!! Yeah, and it seems so fast that another week is over just like that ! Let me try to review the entire week day by day.
On Monday, I had school until 7pm because of AEM. I really felt like giving up at that point because I didn't understand anything after skipping 2 consecutive lessons. I was drawing stuff during the entire lesson and I felt that I was really wasting my time there. I reached home and watched television till about 11pm. During America's Next Top Model, the models went to Phuket in Thailand for a photoshoot. After seeing Phuket on television, I realised that I have to go there someday because it is an amazing place. The beaches are clean and the water there is clear. Yeah, so I wanna go to Phuket!! L0L! On Tuesday, there was an AEM test. Wei Qiang convinced me to go, so I went and I screwed up pretty badly. However, I'm eager to see the results because I only studied for an hour and I want to know how much it pays off. There were certain stuff that I seen during that hour, but I didn't remember how to do during the test. L0L! Oh well... I know that I'm going to fail, but how badly? I'm not too sure about that. I'll just have to wait and see tomorrow yeah? On Wednesday, French class started at 1pm, so I met Alex, Dennis and Gavin for lunch near Dennis place, which was at Jurong. There was this popular Nasi Lemak stall that both Dennis and Gavin were talking about. Alex really wanted to go, so I went with them also. During French class, there was an oral test and I think I did pretty alright. Next week there's going to be a presentation and a written test. Let me practice my numbers now, from 0 to 20. Zero, Un, Deux, Trois, Quatre, Cinq, Six, Sept, Huit, Neuf, Dix, Ongze, Duoze, Treize, Quatroze, Quinze, Seinze, Dix-Sept, Dix-Huit, Dix-Neuf and Vingt! Oh no, it should be Onze, Quatorze and Seize. Damn, 3 mistakes! I've got alot of work to do. Hopefully, my group's presentation on French Wine will be good although I've got no idea on how I'm going to present it. L0L! Oh, and thanks Guoqing for the chocolate! =] On Thursday, I had to stay back in school with Andrea and Jeremiah to do the French project. We completed pretty fast in about 3 hours. There's still some editing left to do, which we will do most slightly tomorrow and Tuesday. If there still isn't enough time, I guess we will have to meet early on Wednesday before French class to complete it. At midnight, I talked to fei ge on MSN for nearly 2 hours. We were talking about religion, his church and stuff relating to it. He told me he would really like if I were to me a Christian, but he said he wasn't going to force me. I have been thinking about that and I realise that perhaps it is a good thing too. I'll get to see fei ge at least once a week rather than now when I rarely get to see him once a MONTH. I feel closer to him rather than my sister and I feel that he understands me alot. Oh well, but there is something that is preventing me from going and I'm not too sure what that is too. I have to figure that out before I decide if I'll go. For Friday, Saturday and today, nothing interesting really happened. Yesterday, I managed to study a little and complete some online stuff. I managed to study French and DCNT today as well. It's like an achievement to me because I have not started studying since school reopened. I realised that the common test is approaching in a month's time and I'll have to buck up if I want to do well. Anyway, the title of my entry today has to do with lifts. My dad told me today that the government are having a poll for the people in my block if we want to have lifts. My block basically have 2 wings. The other end has 2 lifts, but on my side there's only a staircase. Honestly, it won't make a huge difference since we are living on the third storey. At first, I was in favour of the construction of the lifts because I thought it was free. After realising that it wasn't, I didn't want to have the lifts. L0L! I'm thinking that it isn't worth the money, which is AT LEAST SG$5000... All we have to do is to climb the stairs since we are on the third storey. My mum is in favour of building the lifts though because she feels that she's getting too old for stairs... No comments. My sister is also in favour for god knows what reasons, so EVS... I guess I'll have to convince my dad to be the opposition along with me yeah? L0L! I'm going to stop here for now and hopefully, I'll update again soon! L0L! Take care and cya soon~! =] "That man is the richest whose pleasures are the cheapest." - Henry David Thoreau |
