Hey!!! Remember my last entry on the 18th when I said the company in which my aunty is working in requires a temp staff ? Yeah, I managed to get the job the very next day on the 19th. Yesterday was supposed to be my last day at work. However, the company decided to extend my contract till next wednesday and hopefully they will extend it again till the last week of my school holidays.

The job is actually pretty cool. It's basically admin and accounting stuff in the finance department. At first, I thought I was going to have a really hard time because I have never done anything like that before. Fortunately, I managed to pick up everything quickly and I really learnt a whole load of new stuff there. Hopefully, the experience gained here will help me in the future as well as enable to get a job easier when I looked for one in the holidays again. I enjoy this job more than any other so far. I mean it is much more relaxing compared to the rest I have done before and the pay is $7/hr instead of like $5 or $6. I really hope that I get to help out again at this company whenever I have my holidays. =]

Also, I'll be going to Hong Kong on the 5th of October to the 8th of October for a short holiday. Yup, I'm excited about it and I can't wait till next Thursday. The bad thing is that I need to get my passport extended today as I won't be able to anytime next week. The immigration centre opens at 8am till 1pm on Saturdays. This means I have no other choice but to wake up early... I hate waking early on Saturdays and Sundays. L0L! Oh well, I don't have much of a choice really. I asked Pan Ge if he could give me a ride there, but his dad's using the car so he won't be able to. I'll have to take the MRT there then as there isn't any bus from my place to Lavender if I'm not wrong.

I have searched the area around the hotel that I'll be staying in which is known as Royal Garden. It seems like a pretty good location as the shopping areas are pretty nearby. I heard from Qing Xiang that I should go to Temple Street, Ladies Street and Men Street. I need to do a whole lot of shopping there too and I have started coming up with a list of things to buy already. L0L! By the way, I'm going with my relatives and cousins.

I didn't go to JB last Friday either as my friends cancelled it the day before. They postponed it to the upcoming Monday, but I don't think we will be going as nobody said anything about it. Anyway, I can't go already since I have to go to work and nobody said anything in advance. Oh well, hopefully I can really go to JB before school reopens to do some shopping there as well. Speaking of shopping, Marina Square is a cool place to get Quiksilver and Ripcurl stuff as they have outlets there. I saw it today as I was there for lunch.

My IS Enrolment was on Wednesday and I chose French and Flash Application. I wasn't happy with the choices given as there wasn't any Spanish or Photography, the two that I really wanted to learn. So it's like E.V.S (E.V.S is an Aussie term for whatever) man. Hopefully I can do well in these 2 modules as there are grades and it isn't just a pass or a fail. I realised I already know 7 people in my French class so it is pretty cool. I know the lecturer teaching me Flash Application as he taught my class in Year 1 and everyone likes him. Speaking of class, my new class is 2B3 and I can't wait to get to know more people ! Jeremiah and I are still in the same class, however the rest aren't. 1 of my IS friend is also in my class. There's also another person I know, but I forgot his name. Oh well, we'll see when school reopens.
