John Little Sales!
Well, I'm back at blogging again. L0L! Today was my off day from work, so I decided to go to the "Career Fair" that was on at Suntec Convection Centre with a few friends. It was really interesting as there were private schools offering diplomas, degrees, etc. It was a waste that most of them were business schools and none had any engineering courses, so I wasn't able to apply for any of them. The Universities had booths there as well, NUS, NTU and SMU. I received this brochure from NUS about electrical and computer engineering, didn't really look through it though. L0L! But at least I know that the Universities in Singapore offers the engineering courses that I would like to get into in future. There were other overseas Universities as well and some of them did offer engineering courses. Hopefully, I'll do well in my Poly education and get into a Singapore University. If I don't do well enough, I might have to go abroad for my University education, but that will cause my parents a bomb, that's why I am trying to avoid that situation. Oh well, I'm serious about my studies this time and I am not going to screw up again. Hmmm, there were other stuff besides education booths. The police academy, Power 98 radio academy, MOE, Prudential and many others were there. We didn't really focus on them though as were still students and we were rushing for a movie. L0L!
On our way down, I also saw that Chan Brothers and SANS tour agency were having a tour package promotion. There were quite a lot of people there, so I get the feeling that the offers this time round are really good. Hopefully, I will be able to get out of town before Poly life starts. Well, I don't mind having a short trip to KL at all. Perharps I will be able to do some shopping or just have some fun right? =] After that "Career Fair" thing, we decided to catch the movie "Hitch" at Plaza Singapura. We were kind of lazy to walk back to take an MRT and we couldn't find the bus stop to Plaza Singapura. So we decided to take a cab there and share the price. It was quite worth it actually. Each of us just had to pay $2. So when we got to Plaza Singapura, we went to get tickets for "Hitch" at the 4:20pm timeslot. It was about 3:15pm when we tried getting the tickets. Amazingly enough, there were only single seats left. We decided not to watch the movie in the end. *Sighz* We proceeded to the food court to have our erm... "Lunch" and just sat down and chit-chat for awhile. After that, we went to John Little as there's a sales going on and I needed to do some shopping. L0L! Yup, I managed to get 2 shirts, a pair of pants and 2 pairs of boxers for an incredible price of $64!! Wooohooo! Not bad right? I go for cheap and practical stuff most of the time. L0L! We went to Levi's after that to check some jeans. They were having like a 60% off for ladies jeans, but the men don't get anything. How "Sexist" of them! L0L! None of us bought anything from there in the end. Cannot afford ah! =P We proceeded to Watsons after that as my friend wanted to get his natural shampoo. Yes, natural shampoo, which means no chemicals added. All natural herbs and stuff. Pretty cool eh? =] Well, after that my friends wanted to go home. So I didn't pretty much had a choice too but to head home. I was actually thinking of meeting my cell group, but it was kind of late already at that time and I had the feeling that most of them had already left. Oh well, now I'm home with pretty much nothing to do. At the moment I'm blogging and at the same time, thinking of something to keep me occupied later. There's the Apprentice at 10pm, but other than that, there isn't much to do. *Sighz* I still have to wake up early for work tomorrow. Work tomorrow starts half an hour earlier, which means it starts at 9am, which also means I will have half an hour less to sleep. L0L! Oh well, but I guess it's worth the money right? As long as I don't fall ill again! L0L! Alright then, I shall stop here for tonight. Do try tagging my blog often yeah? I'll reply to all of you whenever I can as well. And JOA!!! You have not tagged my blog!!! Grrr! Haha, alright alright. Cya all soon~! =] "Trouble is part of your life, and if you don't share it, you don't give the person who loves you a chance to love you enough." - Dinah Shore |
